I already love Cheng Xiaoshi! He looks like a chill dude and so done with everything but he’s actually the emotional one? I like the part when Lu Guang(white haired dude, the logical one) tell him to sleep bc he’s so immersed in the woman’s life and worried if his parents will come back. It’s so sweet! VERY SHIPPABLE!

What if a photo was taken less than 12 hours ago? Would Xiaoshi possess the person's body into the present from when he traveled back in time? Or would it just now work?

Actually, I think you've got the concept mistaken.

Cheng Xiaoshi enters the body and I just tell him what has to be done to get a specific outcome from the specific event the photo was taken from. However, He can only be in there for 12 hours because outside of that, Xiaoshi can get stuck in that body and who knows what he can do? He might change the future, he could cause a temporal anomaly, but even worse: He would be stuck in that timeline forever and I would never get to see him again.

We don't specifically know what could happen to him. What we do know is that he would get stuck and we'd all end up miserable.

who's the better cook?

To be honest, Xiaoshi cannot be trusted in the kitchen. He almost set the whole house on fire. Please do not even give him matches. He does not handle fire well.

I swear, he must have been an arsonist in his past life.

But I can't say that I can cook either.

Xiaoshi can cook, I can admit that. But I just don't trust him, I guess. He likes watching professionals "play with the fire" and tries them himself. Like an idiot.

Do you like your job? What's the hardest thing about it other than keeping Xiaoshi in check?

Making sure Xiaoshi doesn't get breakdowns, especially at night. Sometimes, he just really needs someone to be there for him. Unfortunately, I'm the only one at the house with him. But honestly? I don't mind.
