movie time || Lucas & Touko
It was a free period for Touko and how bored she was at the moment. She had been staring at her blank piece of paper over twenty minutes, trying to figure out what to write for Journalism. She began to bite on her pen due to the stress she had so far. I mean, she didn’t need this class, but writing had always been a hobby of hers so she decided to take it.
Casually doodling on her paper after a few moments, a boy appeared at her table, introducing himself and asking for help. She looked at the kids sitting next to her and saw that they ignored him. For a minute, she too was going to shoo him away, but something made her change her mind. Sighing, she opened up her binder and stuck the paper in. Looking back at the boy she smiled while sticking out her hand.
"I may not be much of an actress, but we’ve got to help each other out, plus this might be the inspiration I need. The name’s Touko. Nice to meet ya Lucas."
He gave her a soft smile and shook her hand lightly. "It's nice to meet you, too. Thank you for being so willing to help. I do appreciate it a lot."
Lucas sat down at the table across from Touko, gingerly placing his bag at his side. He studied the surrounding area, watching the other students pass in quick waves before returning his attention back to her.
Pulling out a notebook, he quickly wrote "cast list" at the top of a page, then Touko's name a few lines down.
"Before we start...what is your grade and major?"
