Hi there! I am Yancy although you might know me by my stage name Nancy. I attended CUA and have been working as an idol but now I am back at college to improve myself further. Looking forward to improving with all of you.

At the sudden sound, Leaf shot up from her position. “I know that voice,” she mumbled to herself.

Hastily making her way to the door, the brunette stood on her tippy toes to see the knocker, and a smile instantly crossed her lips.

"Yancy!" Leaf beamed as she swung the door open. "I’m so glad you’re here! How are you?"

Yancy smiled back at the girl. She looked around the room to see if Leaf's roommate was around but it appeared that Leaf was by herself.

"I am doing well. I have a paper to write which sucks but otherwise I'm good," Yancy said. She entered the room, looking around before turning back to Leaf.

"How are you? Been busy?"

What's a girl to do? [open]

This was awful.

Leaf, the queen of quick wit, the epitome of entertainment, Mrs. Never-a-dull-moment, was absolutely positively bored out of her mind.

She originally wanted to talk to Serena more, but her roommate wasn’t in at the moment, so it would have to wait. She then tried searching for a friend around campus, but none were to be found (And she got lost again but that’s beside the point).

Her team wasn’t really in the mood for training, either.They had grown accustomed to the lazy life upon entering LCU, where Leaf was constantly on the move and hardly had time to do much of anything.

But it was different now. Without a companion to bother or homework to do, the brunette was left to lay on her bed and ponder what she could do for dinner. Her phone remained silent on her dresser as she hoped it would magically ring.

Yancy was pretty bored. The hype was dying down and so she got left alone more often which was nice. Still for the idol it was a different experience not to be surrounded by people or doing so much at the same time. School was it's own craziness but it was a different kind. 

She look at her textbooks and then her laptop knowing she had a paper to write for her music theory class but she wasn't feeling it. Yancy knew what she wanted to do. She thought about who to invite. Curtis? No. Not Hilbert. She then thought of someone.

She headed to her dorm room and knocked on the door. "Leaf?"

"You could say that." he chuckled. Disappeared, more like vanished from the face of the Earth. He had gone incognito for Team Galactic, as one of the goons. It was only right, seeing that he’d do it some point of his crime fighting life.

"Thanks, most people get pretty freaked out when they see white hair. They either think I’m old, trying to put out a fashion statement, or a ghost." he listed off. He snickered remembering how Red had acted towards him. "This guy tried to get rid of me, he thought I was a full on ghost." 

He nodded, he hadn’t seen much news on her. “That’s good you always need a break, it’s not like your a machine or anything.”

"Really? He tried to perform an exorcism or something," Yancy asked intrigued and amused at the thought. "Did he throw salt at you? That sounds crazy. And it's no problem. You see a lot being in the idol business. I learn to adapt."

Yancy nodded, but she frowned. She felt a little unsure now about it. Curtis was still working after all. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to pick up a job now. It would certainly get her some money.

"Yes but I can't escape from the curse that is autographs and photos, but it's kind of nice. I needed to relax a little but I think I'll go back soon. I miss it a lot. It's my life." Yancy turned to Hilbert. "What about you? Do you miss your home?"

Help Desperately Needed [Open RP]

With butterflies in her stomach and a spring in her step, Leaf hurriedly followed the fairy types with Yancy not far behind. They rushed down the stairs, past students, and out into the courtyard, where Leaf could just make out the outline of her trusted purple pokemon.

"Granbull!" she cried happily, running towards him at full speed. It turns out the poor thing was stuck in one of the bigger bushes on campus! Now that he was out, she could see bits of popcorn left on his fur which someone had thrown into the bush.

Embracing him in the warmest hug, she turned around to look at the lady who had helped her in the first place. “Yancy,” she paused, stumped on how to get out the words. “Thank you… Thank you so much! I couldn’t have done this without you!” She looked at Sylveon as well. “And thank you too, Sylvy!”

Cuddling now both of her fairy pokemon, she stood up to give Yancy another big smile. “Thank you again, Yancy… I mean it; thank you!”

Yancy followed her new friend out of the building. She stopped once Leaf had located the Pokemon. She smiled down at her own, happy to see the pair reunited. After all the searching it had a happy ending. Sylveon mewed up at her.

"Good job Sylvy. You're a star," she said. She turned to Leaf when she embraced her and hugged her back. She shook her head smiling at her.

"It's not a problem. You needed help and I was happy to. If I lost one of my Pokemon I would like someone to do the same for me. So don't worry about it. But you're welcome."

She looked at the Granbull. "Well at least he looks to be in good condition too."

"Mhm, I wouldn’t know much about fame, I was in a few interviews before I mysteriously vanished." he shrugged remembering how he was once the bachelor of Unova but soon was forgotten after he had gone on another journey,

"Haha thanks, most people think I’m a ghost." he said chuckling. He rubbed a strand of his white hair in between his fingers. The white wouldn’t come off in a very long time. 

"I see no drastic changes either?" he raised a white eyebrow at the girl. Idols had to consult their managers before they could do a drastic change to themselves.

"Disappeared? Sounds mysterious." Yancy still didn't know much about Hilbert's secret and hadn't tried to find anything out. She wanted him to tell her himself.

"Well you're a very cute ghost," she said touching his hair. It did look good on him, although Yancy would admit it took her a few moments to recognized him. "At least you aren't that scary or malicious. Have to get some exorcist or something to get rid of you. Although now I know what Nate was talking about."

Yancy ran a hand through her own hair and nodded. "I'm on break right now but it's not something I can do without saying anything. I mean my manager is pretty chill but I don't want to do anything to make their job harder."

Cyrus shrugged, “I’d never heard of you,” Truth be told, even if he had heard of her, he wouldn’t have particularly cared.  Celebrities and popular media never held much interest for him, as he found that it tended to be frivolous and often boring.

Just as long as Yancy’s status didn’t effect him, Cyrus didn’t feel it mattered who she was.  And anyway, he barely knew her, he doubted it would ever effect him.

Yancy looked at him and fought to contain a smile. She liked that he never heard of it. It was nice to be around someone who wouldn't fawn over her just because she was an idol.

"I guess it's not too uncommon. Although I must admit it's nice not to be known. Being an idol people always have their own assumptions and expectations when I meet them. It'll be nice to know someone at least won't expect me to be what they imagined."

Yancy waved her hands, shaking her head. "But I think I've taken enough of your time. It was nice to meet you Cyrus. Maybe we'll meet each other again?"

Yancy gave him a soft smile before leaving.

An Idol's Idol [Diantha]

"Fame itself isn’t so praiseworthy."  Diantha pulled back, smiling. “What sort of advice do you seek? I would think a household name like yourself would have a few things to teach me instead.”

She smiled at Yancy, half teasing, half serious. Diantha wasn’t a stranger to Yancy’s reputation. Her rise as an idol reminded Diantha of her own experiences in her younger years. “But I would be glad to answer any questions you have. I’m quite humbled by your request, actually.”

Yancy fought hard against a blush that cropped up with Diantha's words. She was use to being praised and admired but coming from someone like her made Yancy feel good if a little embarrassed.

"I know I'm pretty popular but I guess I've always struggled somewhat with my fame," Yancy admitted. "I was thinking of becoming an actress full-time. I like singing but I feel the need to take a break. I thought since you've worked in the industry longer if you had any advice. You know about what are the best places to work or if there are people I should avoid?"

Hilbert looked up as the song died down becoming a new song. “What is Love” by Never Shout Never. He looked up, his blue eyed contacts looking at the girl with interest.

"Hey, I haven’t seen you in a while. What’s up?" he asked leaning on one of his arms. His snow white hair fell in front of his eyes, he chuckled a blew the strands out of his face.

Yancy took a seat next to him and leaned closer trying to hear what music he was listening to. She smiled when she recognized the song. She never expected him to listen to that kind of music but then again she didn't really know him that well.

"I've been good. Some more of my friends are here which is wonderful. Classes are okay so far as well."

She turned to look at Hilbert. "More people are learning I'm an idol so that can be a pain but it's nothing I haven't dealt with before." Yancy remembered her losing their Pokemon battle and how she told him the truth about who she was. He hadn't given her much details in return but she was patient at times.

"How about with you? I got to say the white hair is a nice look."

Seriously?

"Gah! Why does everyone still think I’m a ghost?!" Hilbert groaned to himself. "It’s been at least a week already…" he muttered to himself. Thankfully he was alone on the rooftop, the sun was setting, colors blending to become a deep shade of blue. His white headphones around his neck were blaring out "I’m Not A Vampire" by Falling In Reverse.

Hilbert was singing along to the song, his voice was soft and gentle. He had his knees hugged tightly against his chest.

Yancy was singing. She had made sure that she found some place to have some privacy. If anyone knew she was testing out some new songs she was sure a crowd would form and well, the surprise was ruin?

She had to dodge some people and eventually found her way to the roof almost by accident. She was surely alone up there but she was a bit worried about the height.

Yancy hadn't seen Hilbert yet as she sang softly but the sound of his music drew her attention.

"Oh hello again."

An Idol's Idol [Diantha]

Tablet in hand, Diantha crossed off items on a task list as she cut across the corridor, ignoring the whispering masses littering her path. Unwanted attention was a consequence she had long grown accustomed to, and she had learned to turn the whispers into comfortable, blinding white noise. In a way, she almost enjoyed the attention—it gave her a sense of privacy, in a way. 

It wasn’t until the younger girl had shouted out to the actress several times did Diantha realize that someone was calling to her. On the click of her heel, Diantha spun gracefully around to face the bright-eyed student. She smiled and lowered her tablet, giving her full attention.

"Ah, good afternoon, Yancy. What can I do for you?"

Yancy stopped in front of Diantha. Looking up at the older woman Yancy smiled. Diantha was everything that Yancy hoped to be. She was beautiful and talented and charismatic. Yancy wanted to focus more on acting now than singing and she looked up to the woman as a role model. To see her here was perfect.

"I was wondering if I could talk to you. You're pretty famous and I've always admired you," Yancy said. "I guess I wanted to ask some advice."

Leaf nodded and led the way. “It’s nice meeting you too, Yancy,” she paused as she thought about the second part of her new friend’s statement. “Yeah, I hope it goes better, as well.”

Arriving at her dorm room on the third floor, Leaf didn’t see any evidence at first that would lead her in the right direction. After a second look, she pointed out to Yancy, “Is that—?” she bent down to pick up several fibers of delicate purple hair. “Granbull’s fur?”

'So he was here,' she thought. 'But where did he go?'

Cries from the girls’ fairy type Pokemon gave them the answer.

Yancy was going to keep talking since they finally had time to talk when she noticed Leaf point something out. Maybe coming to the dorms was a good idea after all.

Yancy turned to see her Sylveon and Leaf's Clefairy return to them looking like they might have found the lost Granbull. If that was the case she hoped that it wouldn't take long. They've searched long enough that Leaf deserved to find him by now.

"You guys find him? Well if so lead on."

Was it his imagination or was her face a little more flushed than before? Did he say something embarrassing?

Well, it was probably nothing.

"Haha, wow, the friends I’ve been running into sure are comprising themselves into one hell of a support system. Knowing that, I’ll get there eventually- and you will, too," he nodded his head in approval.

"But I guess that makes us rivals in a sense! I can’t slip up now and fall behind if I want to reach my goals. I expect no less from you, either, Yancy," he teased. He was certainly one to talk, being the junior in this situation. Oh well, a little friendly "motivation" wouldn’t do any harm.

Yancy brightened at Nate's words. "Well if you have to be my rival then I am in luck. I'll be watching you then Nate. You better work hard too." She was certainly going to make sure she did the same. It was what she was here for.

"But rivals or not I still offer any help if you need it. It's good to rely on friends at time."

Leaf pondered the question a moment. Granbull had never wandered off before, so an ideal place for him didn’t come to mind. “Perhaps he went back to my dorm room?” The two had come to the vending machines to get food in the first place, so there was the possibility he could be hungry.

She made a mental note to graciously thank the Sylveon later. An idea then sprung into her head after that. “Oh hey, maybe Clefy should come with your Sylveon! You know, for protection and stuff.” sending out the Clefairy, Leaf asked, “Could you follow Yancy’s Sylveon, darling? Make haste - it’s a quick one.” The Fairy Pokemon agreed and quickly bounced after the other fairy type.

Leaf turned back to Yancy and asked, “In the meantime, we should head back to the dorm room, right?”

Yancy nodded. She watched her new friend's Pokemon go knowing that they'd be able to find them. Or Sylveon at least knew her way back to Yancy in the dorms so it'd be okay.

"Yeah that sounds like a good idea to me." Yancy was glad that at least Leaf didn't look too downtrodden. "I'm sorry we had to meet like this but it's nice to meet you Leaf. I hope the rest of the semester goes better for you."

An Idol's Idol [Diantha]

Yancy looked at the shy girl who had come up to her for an autograph. She was a freshman and Yancy had saw her in drama class. She always liked meeting aspiring actors or singers and the like. She wanted to encourage them but she wasn't always sure if she said the right thing.

"Thank you," the girl said, her voice soft. She looked so nervous and Yancy gave her a warm smile nodding.

"It's no problem. I can't do it all the time but for people like you, well." Yancy gave her a wink. "You keep on trying okay? Don't let anyone stand in your way. It's hard work but you'll get there."

The girl muttered a thanks and then dashed off. Yancy laughed a little wondering if all the people who she'd met would be as sweet as her. She hadn't met any creeps yet but there was still time. Walking off she thought about her job. She felt a little unsure at times of her talent. What if she wasn't as good as everyone thought? The thought made her stomach churn.

She decided to head back to the dorms when she saw a bunch of people in a group whispering as someone walked by. She paused curious and then went wide-eyed.

Yancy followed the person calling out, "Diantha!"

Lucas was almost taken aback at how formal the girl was, but a quick jog to his memory caused him to recall where he had seen her before. An idol, of some sort, out of Unova, if he remembered correctly. Best not to bring it up, just in case.

He shook her hand, nodding along to what she said. “Wonderful. I’m very appreciative of it.”

Gesturing for her to have a seat once more, he again pulled out the paper titled “cast list” and set it down on the table.

"Yancy, was it? Can you tell me your grade and major?"

"I am a junior and my major is Theater and Acting. Which is why I would love to help out. I can't imagine a better person to act for you than an actress herself."

Yancy didn't name herself as an idol but she wasn't going to play down her abilities. Maybe that made her a little full of herself, but it was just the way she was.

"What kind of film is it going to be?"
