Paradox the Taillow joins the Brawl. ;p
Leanna Brinks & Luce Kaylem [1]
Leanna smiled, straightening out her skirt before she sat down again. “Great! I can’t wait to see what I can, but just let me know if you don’t like it! I don’t want someone unhappy with what they’re wearing ya know.” Zoe floated behind Leanna, now coming half way into view.
Leanna turned her head slightly once she felt one of Zoe’s long tentacules latching to the back of her jacket. She liked to rest in Leanna’s hood when they travel, so she always finds comfort in being somewhat close to her spot. “Hey! Say hello, don’t be shy!” she pulled gently at Zoe, making her float towards the ginger haired girl.
"This is my Inkay, Zoe!" she extended her arms forward as Zoe extended her other white tentacule. "She likes to meet new people, she’s just shy about it sometimes. Right?" she smiled as she seemed content with the way Zoe was behaving. "Oh! How could I forget!"
"My name is Leanna!" she beamed and held out her hand.

Leanna smiled ear to ear, she loved getting compliments on her outfits but she had more questions popping into her head as the ginger girl repositioned herself in her chair.
"Thank you!" she managed after a short blush. "I’m really into fashion, but I feel like I’m overdressed as a trainer," she sighed admitting that for once, maybe the Lumiose fashion trends were something that should have stayed in Lumiose. "Hey! How about we make a trade off sometime?" she aspired with a hint of a devilish grin. "Teach me how to skate like that and I’ll show you a thing or to about what I’ve learned in Lumiose? I don’t really show my sketches often, but I think I have something that fits you?" She fumbled with her fingers, not knowing if she wanted to show the new girl her ideas yet.
The center’s com crackled to life and announced that Zoe, Leanna’s Inkay, was ready to be picked up. Leanna looked towards the counter, “One second thought, let me show you my new Pokemon I got!” she hurriedly said with a smile on her face, “She’s a charmer!” Leanna said as she got up to go retrieve her Pokemon.

The glass door shutting to the center caught Leanna’s attention. She quickly eyed the peopled around her, wondering how long she had been lost in thoughts. She never had to worry about another being before, until Zoe came along. She knew deep down the poison was no threat, but she wanted to be a diligent trainer.
A glimpse of red caught her eye, soon followed by the quick turn of Leanna’s head to see what it was. A young girl with roller skates had sat down next to her. She cocked her head as she began to think if she knew her or not. Nonetheless, the question that she was begging to have answered spurted out of her mouth faster than she could think it.
"Hey! Are those skates your shoes? Like inside and outside and walking shoes?" she inquired, intrigued by the boldness and design of the skates.
(( Let me know if you can’t respond back! My replies have been weird lately ))
Luce had never been a cautious trainer, so her frequent trips to the Pokemon Centers weren't rare occurrences. Whenever Owain was injured, Priority Number 1 was getting him to the nearest Center, regardless of the intensity of the injury. The wound he had obtained this time, however, wasn't too bad. The trainer had little reason to get worried.Â
So in response to the girl next to her, Luce casually pushed her blades forward and back a tad, nodding before giving an exuberant, "Basically, yeah! I try to use them whenever I can, though they aren't the best on, like, the mountains and stuff." She pushed her bangs back and offered a sheepish smile. "But they're perfect for towns and stuff!" She left out the detail of how they had saved her once or twice in getting to a Center on time.Â

leannabrinks Apparently Luce had a certain curse for running out of Pokeballs during the moments that she needed them most. On the outskirts of Jupiter Canyon, Owain had been surrounded on all ends by aggressive Nidoran, Dwebble, and Taillows. Though taking down the Taillows was an easy task, and her Blitzle was getting at the level in which he could take down the lower leveled Nidoran in a few hits, facing the Dwebble was a bit of a larger feat. It was only when Owain was in the last stretch of his energy that Luce's target- a large Taillow that moved faster than any other Pokemon the young trainer had seen- was open for Luce to catch. Digging into her bag yielded fruitless results; She didn't have any Pokeballs! The time that she would've spent throwing the non-existent Pokeball had been used up, and the next thing she knew, the Taillow dived towards Owain, jabbing its beak into his side. Owain slammed into the ground, his high-pitched squeal ringing in the trainer's ears as she called him back to his Pokeball.Â
Now defenseless, Luce skated as fast as she could towards the nearest Pokecenter, nearly crashing into the glass doors. Her skates opted on Luce crashing hard onto the floor of the Pokecenter, her own yelp matching Owain's from just a few minutes ago. Quickly pulling herself up, she rushed towards the counter (ignoring the nurse's wide-eyed, open-mouth expression) and slid the Ball towards the nurse.Â
Being instructed to sit down and wait, Luce left the Ball and trudged into the closest seat next to another girl.Â
