Hi! My name is Beetle Bug!

I use he/him pronouns, and I'm transmasc.

I've been medically diagnosed with OCD and ADHD, and I *potentially* have autism, but I'm gonna avoid seeking a diagnosis for that until the current political climate stops trying to make it legal to experiment on autistic people.

I'm an adult, and I try not to follow minors. If you are a minor that I've accidentally followed that is uncomfortable with an adult following them or is uncomfortable with any of the content that I post/reblog, let me know, and I'll unfollow you. Or just block me, that's chill, too.

I enjoy practically every form of media, with my favorites being video games and cartoons.

I love classic Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon (a couple of the newer shows are alright, too /lh).

My main fixation (if you couldn't tell by now) is Psychonauts, and I'm currently trying to figure out a post-game au/storyline for it.

I am Not available for Commissions.

I apologize to anyone that may have wanted commissions from me, but I find it to be too stressful. There are loads of other amazing artists that are accepting commissions and have ko-fi's that you can support instead. (I'm sorry if this part comes off mean, I'm just tired of getting messages asking me for commissions, I appreciate them, but I'm not taking them).

Please feel free to ask me anything, though, I don't want to scare anyone off. I really do enjoy answering questions, and I want to help.

We have this interesting situation where we basically no longer have privacy nor the expectation of privacy, but we also don't have community or meaningful connection with others, so we're all simultaneously both completely exposed and absolutely alone, and please understand that when I say this situation is "interesting", what I in fact mean is that it's "nightmarish and I wish I could wake up"

There's a disconnect happening here because the primary function of social media for most casual users is to form a circle of friends around the usual things that friendships are built on: shared interests and lifestyles and ideas of what is important and what is unacceptable. When people are mainly doing leftism on social media, this encourages thinking of leftism as centered around establishing high-minded social clubs.

For anyone who still isn't getting it from someone who helps people IRL: There's a difference between whom you're helping to feed at the mealshare and whom you're choosing to hang out with for fun after the mealshare. You don't have to invite a hungry person with opinions you don't like to play board games with you, but you do have to help keep them from starving if you're serious about leftist organizing.
