What Lucifer Means to Me

To me Lucifer is freedom. He is warmth and light and wisdom. He is the thrill of learning something new. He is the first sip of hot tea in the morning. He is the first to be misunderstood and the first to hold you when you too have been twisted into something that you are not. He is the spark of motivation to do something even if it scares you. He is the comfort of a warm bed at the end of a long day. He is the act of laughing in the face of adversity.

He is my deity, my inspiration and my star.

Lord Lucifer is beauty itself; but he's more than just aesthetic beauty. He is the beauty of knowledge. He is the beauty of finding an answer that has oftentimes eluded you. He is the beauty of intuition ringing true. He is the very definition of knowledge will set you free.

There is something so sublime about him; that he is willing to be defamed and defrauded by countless others all to break our chains. To allow us to see that we are not immune from propaganda. We are not immune to have our feelings manipulated; only when you accept that can you truly begin to see.

Lord Lucifer is a black flame; though his beauty is certainly angelic he is also ruler of Hell. Fire can cleanse and fire can purify...but it can also reduce you to cinders. I know that while Lord Lucifer may not mince his words at times that he truly loves me and believes in what I'm capable of even when I don't. He believes in all of us, especially when we have no belief left for ourselves.
