Little fun fact, me and my girlfriend were just friends when we played the first 4 chapters of deltarune. Then in the time between chapter 4 and 5 we got together. So for kris it was something like this:

This is what Toriel says if you say "we were locked out" btw I am actually glad to see a less graceful side of Toriel (like seriously i love that for her, that she doesn't act like the idealised version of herself, it's interesting) but, people were def extrapolating a lot on her. Kris is still rightto be angry at the noises but this part does shed some light on some other arguments, of people saying she insta forget about Kris (alsoooo i guess that Kris was lying to Susie when they say they were locked out which, makes sense.)
