Why I Say That Bucky Is A Pure Soul:

I know that Bucky can be a bit "naughty" at times, and he's tended to punch 1st and ask questions later or not at all, but that doesn't stop him from being the purest soul; Below are the reasons.

Point 1: Bucky can't be corrupted.

I know I've brought this up numerous times already but it just really shows how truly good Bucky actually is, that he's incapable of being blackmailed, coerced, or fully manipulated, let alone bribed into 'causing unfair harm to others; Bucky leads with his heart so to say, and ultimately it's made him do everything he can to help rather than to hurt, even when that's been at his own expense.

Point 2: Bucky doesn't really hurt people unless they deserve it and even then for the most part only when he has no other options.

I guess this ties in with the above point, but it's different enough, I think, so what I'm saying in this case is that Bucky won't like take the blatant injury or worse route if someone can be arrested, so-called scared straight, or convinced to change their ways, and yes, there are numerous times these haven't worked, and of course Bucky's gonna defend himself, and particularly others, however, and believe it or not, Bucky would rather avoid confrontation whenever possible.

Point 3: Bucky is Bucky. <333

Okay, I know but I mean... Look at him! That is the face of a man who could never and would never lose what makes him so pure, precious, and perfect; Bucky is by his very core nature the antithesis of wrong, and somehow or another, he shows that in every way.

Conclusion:

Like I said, Bucky is hardly a "goody-2-shoes" which that's boring anyway, and purity of spirit or whatever you wanna call it isn't about self-rightousness or piety or any of those things; it's about whom a person is well as what they choose to do with that, which indeed, nobody fits this better than Bucky.

I'm legally changing my last name to Bucky's...

Up until now I've just been going by my chosen name and Bucky's last name like symbolically, but I've come to realise that isn't enough; I have to change the gender along with my 1st and middle name anyway, so I can put Barnes in there too which, I mean... They wouldn't include last names if they didn't understand that can be a part of it, and the current on my birth certificate has never felt right even though ironically it has to do with Bucky except maybe not how a lot of people would be thinking, but Bucky's last name has felt like mine since like always, maybe actually that; I would think I didn't like it, meanwhile I was really jealous (not of Bucky, just to confirm, never of Bucky) because I wasn't sure how to go about changing or if I even could, however, now that I understand my gender range, I've looked into it and yeah, it's a little involved for a socialphobic such as myself, but I got support and ways to make it easier when they already try to do that somewhat in these cases, so it could be by sometime next month or no more than a couple months from this point that I'll finally officially have the name I'm meant to, and that includes part of Bucky's.

I wanna explain myself and particularly how I say about Bucky...

...so maybe I'm overthinking this, but It occurred to me I sometimes say things in a way that isn't exactly how I intend; that's due to being autistic and not always realising what's like appropriate or whether something could have a negative conontation, and when it comes to Bucky of course I wanna say everything in a way that shows full respect to Bucky and properly emphasises the way I have for Bucky or close as I can within the limits of basic communication, and I guess just what I'm trying to say and inevitably not doing a great job of it is that I never wanna make it seem like Bucky is any way I know he isn't or isn't how I know he is, I just wanna say about Bucky well as I can, as much as I can, and if at any point I've upset anybody that was not my intention, which I can't really tell how this would come off either or to what degree it'd be considered by others; it's just something I had to put out there so to say.

About Bucky's orientation range...

I think my somewhat ironic (being part of the LGTB+ community myself after all) like leaning toward Bucky being straight, even when I said "with exceptions" came from a place of defensiveness so to say because people were just insisting Bucky is bi which isn't accurate either; Bucky has tended to be I guess used to dating women and the like inertia of that, therefore, it wouldn't occurr to him to consider going outside that range so to say without some sort of extenuating circumstances, which, well, obviously that's been the case a number of times now, and where Bucky has mostly had stronger feelings is with individuals who don't exactly like fall into the femme spectrum, and I know Bucky considers how I do to 1 degree or another anyway... I just get the impression Bucky's more pan than anything else, if his sexuality is to be labeled, but either way the point I'm trying to make and have realised is that Bucky would rather go with however things work out instead of focusing on what label to use, such, as Bucky just wants to feel how he feels, whatever way, and that's all there is to it.

About what I actually meant by Bucky's and Steve's friendship/bond never stopping or wavering...

I went ahead and deleted that part anyway since it was a little convoluted (not that it probably made a difference), but I wanted to explain even so my reasoning, because I know Bucky and Steve lost contact for a long time following Bucky falling from the train in the initial climax of Captain America The First Avenger, however, of course when Steve saw what he assumed was Bucky during that scene from Captain America The Winter Soldier, since everything was so hectic and Steve couldn't tell what was really going on, all he could think about was that his friend may have survived in a relatively similar manner (and by the way, I know people consider that scene "hilarious" and quote it and shit, but it isn't; it's fucking heartbreaking), then when Bucky was briefly brought back he immediately realised he knew Steve from somewhere even though he didn't remember whom he was let alone Bucky himself (a lot of heartbreak in that film, just saying), yet Bucky understood that all too fractured memory at the time so profoundly and refused to be swayed by those callous, heartless pieces of scum, even as he was subjected to being forced into supposedly forgetting again (in what is easily my most hated scene from anything ever and how come I could only ever watch Captain America The Winter Soldier once even though it's in my top range of absolute favourite movies), and when the reprogramming inevitably happened which culminated in that climactic battle, what brought Bucky back was Steve repeating "I'm with you 'til the end of the line" like Bucky said to him all those years ago, not Steve repeating general information about Bucky or anything like that; it was their connection, and at that point of course Bucky hadn't yet gotten his full understanding of who Steve is back much as Bucky tried, but that all changed during Captain America Civil War, where when Bucky went to gather his bag and presumably attempt to flee Romania (and maybe Eastern Europe overall, I mean... probably Bucky didn't have a like fully fleshed out plan since he's Bucky), only to notice Steve waiting for him to warn Bucky and try to figure out what was going on exactly/how much Bucky actually knew about the bombing (obviously that turned out to be next to nothing), while also trying to help Bucky make sense of things leading into among the chaos of the cops attempting (and failing miserably/rather laughably, actually) to subdue Bucky, which set off a chain of events so to say that ultimately made it so Steve saved Bucky just like Bucky saved Steve, and when Bucky came to he truly knew Steve again; those memories couldn't be removed, and 2 years later when Bucky is free and had been living in Wakanda, Bucky explained to Steve in the hill scene from Avengers Infinity War the events that brought Bucky to where he was ready for helping their cause and fighting alongside Steve, so it got to Bucky and Steve finally properly reuniting and it was like no time had passed, and finally, following Bucky coming back around the end of Avengers Endgame, Steve began the playful banter Bucky started those many, many, many years ago, Bucky continuing that and expressing his sadness because he knew he'd be understood, and inevitably Steve made Bucky feel like things would work out even when their journey together was coming to its final range.

This turned way longer than I expected, but I just really felt it was necessary to include every example I could of how much Bucky and Steve continued that closeness even when so much had been lost, because it's very special and it means a lot to me how their commraderie transcended the odds throughout time; that's all I've been trying to say.

Steve didn't abandon or betray Bucky...

Some people apparently assume, maybe due to the fact at the end of Avengers Endgame Steve chose to stay with Peggy/live his life with her and had decided not to pass the Captain America mantle to Bucky, that he was giving up on Bucky, however, nothing could be further from the truth because Bucky understood and respected Steve's decisions even though that wasn't easy for Bucky; Bucky knew it was time for both of them to grow in their own way and Steve leaving was part of that, but Bucky also realised Steve (hopefully it'll turn out still) made the right choice in not giving Bucky the shield not 'cause Steve didn't think Bucky deserved it, but because, well, Bucky explained all of it rather eloquently for his part in Captain America Brave New World, so to sum it up: Steve doesn't deserve to be hated on, and Bucky wouldn't even want anybody to treat Steve like that knowing the positive impact Steve has had on Bucky and how he never really hurt Bucky.

Why Steve Is Always Gonna Be My 2nd Favourite Person From the MCU (And Yes, Every Point Has To Do With Bucky)

The followings are ways Steve has been good to/for Bucky:

Point 1: Steve respected Bucky's feelings for him.

Bucky has been in love with Steve anyway since they were teenagers, but it wasn't until Steve became a super soldier during Captain America The First Avenger that Bucky decided to confirm/act on that in his very Bucky way (of course it helped that he had a little so-called liquid courage at the time), knowing previously Steve would've wondered if Bucky was just being supportive or otherwise wouldn't really have understood , and when Steve showed that he didn't feel the same, of course Bucky didn't pursue further, and they barely missed a beat, even with Steve knowing from then on how Bucky feels about him he never treated Bucky differently far as that or felt weird around him, which has indicated the importance of their freindship.

Point 2: Steve never gave up on Bucky.

When Steve learned that Bucky is alive during Captain America the Winter Soldier, he immediately focused on trying to bring Bucky back, and when Bucky finally came through, ending up saving Steve then seemingly vanishing, Steve wasted no time in searching for Bucky, which of course that culminated in the events of Captain America Civil War; it's shown that Steve, busy as he was, continued his mission to locate Bucky even when there were no leads, because he knew Bucky would want that soon as he understood about everything.

Point 3: Steve trusted Bucky.

When Steve confronted Bucky in his Romanian apartment at the time during the main events of Captain America Civil War, Steve, being sensing and wary of the overall circumstances, assumed Bucky wasn't being truthful, but when Bucky explained in so many words how he had nothing to do with the UN bombing, Steve immediately accepted this and believes Bucky; he knows Bucky wouldn't insist on something like that if it wasn't true, and, well, he knows Bucky, and even when Bucky went away again where Steve had to verify Bucky following saving him, Bucky's response like solidified Steve's full trust/understanding how that is indeed Bucky, from then on fully including Bucky without pretense or misgiving of any sort.

Point 4: Steve knew how to talk to Bucky after.

When Steve brought up old times with Bucky shortly prior to the climax of Captain America Civil War, clearly Bucky had abnormal gaps in his memory when it came to events being referred to which Steve didn't know the explanation for, but instead of insisting or questioning how come Bucky couldn't remember, he simply answered Bucky, making it so Bucky could recreate those memories essentially, even though things had changed/Bucky had changed to a degree or another and no longer processed things how he did before, Steve understood the way to get right back into it with Bucky as though nothing were different, because when it comes to their friendship, it wasn't; this also is shown during Avengers Infinity War well as Avengers Endgame.

Point 5: Steve has been there for Bucky.

Steve rescuing Bucky during Captain America The First Avenger, being inspired by Bucky to start the Howling Commandos and further help Bucky, again helping to free Bucky during events shown in Captain America The Winter Soldier and Captain America Civil War, reassuring Bucky at the end of Avengers Endgame, every single point and more is about Steve having Bucky's back so to say, as Bucky has for Steve, Bucky even now continuing to defend Steve's honour and show how grateful he is for what they've had; there is something so touching, that bond having been meaningful as it is, I mean... It's the greatest love story that isn't totally romantic.

Conclusion: The fact is that, other than Sebastian, Steve is the person who most helped me find My Bucky; I am utterly, unfathomably grateful to Steve for that, his being part of Bucky's life, and everthing he's done for Bucky.

I don't understand how people ever get confused about what Bucky is feeling...

I know I'm an empath and particularly that I can feel how Bucky is feeling, even tell what Bucky's thinking which is unprecedented ('though I'm not sure I can just blatantly read Bucky's mind, nor would I without Bucky realising try to, 'cause that just like strikes me as rude, however, we have been known to communicate telepathically, so, yeah, putting that out there so to say), but I mean... Bucky is so emotional; he's the most literally moody and expressive person, and yet somehow not everybody picks up on that, some even assuming Bucky is a certain way that he isn't, and okay, Bucky only really verbally expresses his feelings to people he trusts and respects (even if they haven't always been deserving of that, by the way), except what should be obvious is that emotion isn't just about saying how 1 feels, and man, is Bucky emotive in every other aspect, from his voice, to his face (in particular Bucky's eyes) to his so-called body language; there should be no mistaking Bucky's mood at any given point really, so like I said, it's weird that anybody could do that, but whatever, because I know, and well, anybody who actually respects Bucky, instead of making shit up about him, is gonna or anyway attempt to understand how Bucky feels.

The Clever Incorporation Of Artists and Song In The New Avengers aka Thunderbolts*:

Son Lux is a band.

This is a big deal because up until The New Avengers every movie that takes place in the MCU's score/soundtrack is by a single composer, not 3 people, and I think part of that anyway has to do with the emphasis of family dynamic being presented like it just hadn't been previously, not to say that it hasn't come up or been implied, and of course no matter what there's been that range of looking out for each other, such, but it just feels more... There's that necessity of being there for someone right then, in their darkest hour, even when it literally hurts, even when they're pushing you back, and you have to face those fears, those demons, to overcome and not give up on them; family can practically drive you mad, but they're also gonna be there to help you retrieve your sanity, and that's really the underlying lesson as it were of that film.

This Starship bop has its own bad reputation.

Every member of the New Avengers had had some range of being treated like they're no good when they're really so much more than people have assumed, and fully deserve to be called heroes, so with "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now", the parallel is that it originally was from a movie called Mannequin, in which a man falls in love with a plastic shop model that comes to life, and believe it or not, it's actually pretty cute, but obviously not the sort of thing to wow critics, which, consequently, its theme song got caught in the like crossfire of that lambasting and for a while was also considered "awful" when it's actually great, much better than the source (even with that not being bad as many think), and there's no better theme for a bunch of misfits who are undermined and misrepresented merely 'cause of where they come from or situations they were previously put in that they didn't fully understand and or weren't even their fault, just saying.

Yet Still Even More General Facts I've Learned About Bucky:

Fact 22: Bucky's hair doesn't feel how a lot of people maybe think it does:

I know it may appear as though Bucky has blatantly soft hair, but that isn't the case; it's more like that of a (just a little ironically) red wolf, which I've had the distinct pleasure of getting to pet due to being in just the right place at the right time (the plethora of wild animals I've had that opportunity with from a capybara to big horned sheep-both male, incidentally-is quite special in of itself, but that wolf, obviously she was easily my favourite), and I can say that while their hair does have an underlying softness to it, there's an initial, potentially unexpected coursness, so Bucky's hair is textured, and in fact I also wanna say that not only does Bucky have the exact same colour, thickness, growth pattern (growing very fast too, well over an inch a month, which is how Bucky is able to have his hair different lengths at any given time, basically), and consistency as I do ('though I shave my head predominately 'cause that's what's easiest for me even while that's gotta be every other day or so to keep up), even to that swirl or however (what I've called the Ariel wave due to the 1989 version of the eponymous The Little Mermaid being the 1st person I noticed has that besides myself), our foreheads are also very similar, but yeah, of course Bucky has the best hair and all that anyway and either way.

Fact 23: Bucky has a Purple Heart.

I was really stressed about this as it's always felt like Bucky hasn't properly gotten the recognition he so deserves for his contributions/sacrifices during the war, so I asked Bucky if he has that very rightfully (no ironic pun intended, please) earned medal, and he brought it out from stage left of his top dresser drawer (around where he also stores his boxers, which I'm certain is unrelated) and showed it to me; then of course he put it back, Bucky picked me up (which obviously he knew I'm wanting that, and I also gotta say how like 99% of my dreamwalking in the MCU interactions with Bucky have that way at 1 point or another, otherwise I barely come up to Bucky's chest anymore and I need to wear my glasses for directly seeing him properly, 'though I do say I'm at heart height to Bucky, and I've plenty of opportunities to be resting with Bucky too, considering everything, plus I'll typically have my left hand on the right side of Bucky's face while my right is on his chest around his heart anyway when he's literally holding me), when I thanked Bucky for his service which made Bucky a little emotional (something that occurrs every so often when it comes to how Bucky is with me); Bucky said "thank you", then we hugged/kissed/smiled to each other, as we do, and that's how I learned that Bucky has indeed been honoured/recognised/respected for being wounded in the line of duty.

Fact 24: Bucky enjoys musical theatre.

Bucky took me to a concert where they performed songs from "Bucky's time", and since I've had a number of ranges dreamwalking in the MCU with Bucky where Bucky has been watching a musical or similar consideration, and I know not only was vaudville still a thing when Bucky was little (albeit on its way out), but musicals were extremely popular when Bucky was a teenager and in his early 20s, continuing to do relatively well throughout "Bucky's time", so it definitely stands to reason Bucky has a nostalgia for that and of course he enjoys it now too.

Of course neither of these are canon, I mean... The 1st particularly is rather unlikely to be verified in the MCU, but as always, I know they're really the case.

Bucky isn't his vibranium arm (a public service message).

There's a YouTube short featuring Anthony and Sebastian in which the former asks the latter whether he feels sexier with or without the metal arm, to which Sebastian replies: "I think with...", and that isn't the issue at all, even though I don't ever consider things in a sexual way, of course this is just that great back and forth people have come to know and appreciate from Sebastian and Anthony; I've even included it on my "Sebastian Shorts" playlist, but the problem comes from the title and what comes after that interview clip (which is from the Captain America Civil War press tour, incidentally): Not only is it called something about the metal arm being "everything", but that playful banter I previously commented on is interrupted by scenes showing Hydra's Winter Soldier using said arm in various ways (which I could only tell the gist of because obviously I ignore that part), which implies 1: that now Bucky's left arm is all that matters as such that Bucky himself doesn't have to be included, and 2: that a literal human muder machine who took over Bucky's body along with (somewhat) his mind is somehow preferable to Bucky, regardless of whether Bucky has his arm on, which I've touched upon in other entries how excruciatingly disgusting, messed up, and wrong all of that is, but specifically to emphasise Bucky's arm in such a way is bad enough and not even to include Bucky... Then there's the "fan" who claims to love Bucky so much they have a picture of his arm as their channel icon, not a picture of Bucky, literally just his vibranium arm; it's so bloody disrespectful to just be making it blatantly about "the arm", or whatever, like, I mean... Sometimes Bucky doesn't have that arm, hasn't, and he's still been totally Bucky, so when it's off it's just a prosthetic (albeit a prosthetic that's highly advanced/robotic), so not until Bucky locks that arm in place and calibrates it does it become part of him, which, to say that Bucky is more than the sum of his parts is the most understatement ever; and therefore, Bucky is everything, not his left arm how it is or was, or any other physical feature/s, as all of that comes through in the absolute best way when it comes to Bucky actually making that Bucky, not the other way around.

I Need Bucky. <333

Bucky is my soul, my home, my all, and never mind that he is a character featured in a multibillion dollars film series along with a decently received show, or that some people assume he's "fictional", because like I said, Bucky means absolutely everything to me, and when people talk about individuals who are clearly meant for each other and stand the test of time, such, I know I have that with Bucky, whatever reason we can't at this point be in the same reality directly, but I get to be with Bucky anyway; I feel him around me all the time, his energy, his... Buckyness, and then when I sleep I know I'll end up spending time with Bucky relatively directly anyway since I'm able to dreamwalk to the MCU, and Bucky is always there, like 9.5 times out of 10 is where he's awake or waking up range, 'though I've been with Bucky when he was sleeping and we were dreaming together, which maybe some people don't understand that or are thinking this is some sort of elaborate fan fiction, but I mean every word; I know because 1: I've the ability to lucid dream and can always tell when things aren't or are real, and 2/particularly: I can tell when Bucky looks at me, in his eyes, that absolute devotion, just like the way I have for Bucky, even how Bucky never really committed to anybody else romantically, considering everything, or how I've known since I could barely talk that someone was out there for me, and yeah, that someone is Bucky. <333
