If you see something posted by a lifter and it has ANYTHING that could lead to their real identity, message that person and let them know.
I cannot stress enough how important it is that we work together to protect the community as a whole.
* ATTENTION *
PLEASE don’t believe in the packaging !
literally nothing radio sensitive was in the box. no rfids nothing. it was just a scare tactic.
saved in my last blog like $55
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS. I eye it every time in the store but decide against it because I wasn’t sure.
Ya’ll the sticker on the fit me concealer is fake as well! I’ve been seeing these a lot lately on cheaper makeup but have never beeped or found tags on them. Also I know at least H&M puts orange stickers like this on their jewelry but theyre legit just stickers there is no tag on them!
if there’s no visible/feelable wiring on a sticker, then it’s fake. I still reccomend taking stuff off just Incase tho !
liftelaine’s never fail UO kanken method
Alright ladies, gents, and those who don’t buy into the gender binary, in this post I will reveal the method that has gotten me 5 Kankens in the past 3 days. These little guys boost extraordinarily well (I sold one tonight in seven min flat) so take heed.
Step One: Use the UO App or website to determine which kankens (if any) are available at your local store. Check yelp for pictures of where the kankens are displayed. This way you won’t have to waste time in store looking for them!
Step Two: Head to the store! Make sure you have your magnet and if you wear a bra it is stored in there! If you don’t wear a bra keep the magnet in your underwear.
Step Three: Enter the store carrying a non-sus bag of some kind that you will carry your new kanken out in. I use my black kate spade lane which looks small but fits kankens of any size. I honestly love this purse so much i’d recommend boosting for one. it’s pictured below! PM me for more info!
Step four: Alright let’s get down to business. grab a UO shopper tote. They are black and not see-through and you can ask an SA for one. They are at every UO store I’ve ever been to. Your first stop is the kanken display. Pick one out and put it in your bag (the minis are the safest though the method is the same for all of them). For all sizes I recommend picking a black one, especially for your first kanken lift, as they blend very well with the shopper bag so SAs might not notice you carrying it as easily. That said i’ve never had trouble with other colors.
Step five: You find this exact jacket
This is the BDG 80s Trucker Jacket in Black. Black is best but other colors work too. But you have to use the BDG Trucker. You take one and put it in your bag with the kanken.
Step Six: You find a blindspot/a place where no one is around or watching. Make sure there are no customers near you either because this step can look very weird. Hang the jacket on some rack and unbutton it. On the inside directly above the sewn in tag that says BDG and gives the size there is a little loop of denim that people use to hang the jacket on a hook etc. Attached to one of the top handles of the kanken there is a little button thingy used to clip the two top handles together (pictured below) you want to clip the kanken using this button to the little denim cloth hook inside the jacket then button up the jacket hiding the kanken inside.
Step Seven: Your kanken is now concealed! Go to the fitting room to try on the jacket (and some other stuff so they don’t focus on the jacket). Once you’re in the fitting room unbutton the jacket, unclip the kanken, untag it, roll that little guy up and put him in your bag/purse! Hide the tags in the inside pocket of the trucker jacket (god i don’t own this jacket but i love it, great lifting aid)
Step Eight: leave the fitting room and tell the attendant that you’re taking the jacket! Pretend (not too obviously) to change your mind about the jacket on the way to the register and put it back where you got it. Leave with your brand new kanken!!!!
OKAY SO
I realize the text description of this method might not be 100% clear… so I’m planning on making a vid of the way I clip the kanken in a UO dressing room tomorrow! Stay tuned lovelies!
holy shit,, this is so elaborate yet simple and well thought out what?
I steal food, tampons and socks from grocery stores and put them straight into the donations box out front.
I know how rough being homeless is.

Not Getting Caught Online
I avoided the ‘dox spree’ last summer, and I have a little bit of tech knowledge. There are a lot of posts abut not getting caught in stores, but shit happens online. Here are a few tips, common sense is always the general rule.
1. Do NOT reblog any posts that say anything like ‘reblog if you’re a lifter over 18. Certain sites have rules about not doxxing minors, so you’re putting yourself on a ‘hey, you can dox me’ list if you reblog/like those.
2. Separate accounts are a good idea. It’s really easy to connect a regular tumblr with their lifting blog if they’re on the same account. I’ll see “x-regular” liked your post, then 5 seconds later “x- lifting” reblogged your post”. Pretty easy to connect the two.
3. Remove all exif data from photos. You probably know by now that smartphones put all kind of location/info tags on a photo. Remove them with a website like this before posting.
4. Actually look at what’s in your photos. Lots of liftblrs were making stupid mistakes last summer. Check the reflection of that pair of sunglasses in your photos, check if you’re making a silhouette shadow while taking a photo, etc.
5. Change details. I NEVER post a haul on the same day/weekend that I do it. If some overenthusiastic LP googles “lifted from X mall on Feb. x 2016″, I don’t want my blog to come up. I like being honest with you guys, but I’ll fudge details, maybe leave out a few bigger items, change the date, etc.
6. Careful with who you talk to. I give legal advice because I don’t want to see y’all get caught. You can always go anon to me and I’ll respond to the best of my ability. BUT - never go ‘non-anon’ to someone or trust them with personal details/names.
Claire’s is filing for bankruptcy so go lift from them, shorties xo xo
honestly if I ever get caught as the career criminal that I am, they better use the sexiest pictures of me AND have the dopest, most articulate and accurate biography of me on wikipedia or else I’m throwing hands from behind bars
We got you ✊🏻
we’ll fight for your right to good representation😤😤
omg
new lifters that werent here when the community set up our guidelines a couple years ago…
NEVER LIFT FROM SMALL BUSINESSES!!!!!!! WTF. I’m seeing so many hauls with “random boutique” used as one of the stores you went to. Youre stealing from a small town business owner. We do this shit to companies that are assholes to their workers. Stop fucking stealing from small businesses, churches, OTHER PEOPLE, and thrift stores that donate to charities. Whoever is doing this is DISGUSTING and needs to stop. This is already common sense on what NOT to do.
Concept Tags
I saw this tag over a week ago in Rîver Islànd - I’d never seen it before so it caught my attention.
It freaked me out because I thought the little holes meant the tag was alarmed. I looked at it in the changing rooms and it turned out all the clothes items had them.
It turns out this is called a Concept Tag. It’s new, it’s being hailed as an amazing shôplifting deterrent, and it’s becoming increasingly popular.
It has a unique locking mechanism that makes it pretty much impossible to remove with force - one would need to apply over 50kg of pressure to force it open. It has rfid technology that makes the towers beep. It contains ink as well. As far as I can tell, the raised part acts as a key hole - the other end is the part with the pin, so the raised part with the dots is part of the unlocking mechanism.
It’s unlocked with this tool:
This is set into the shop desks by each till, and is hooked up to the tills themselves. It communicates with the tills to unlock the tag - it has to be scanned to deactivate the tag. This means that even strong golf magnets don’t work on it.
Thankfully, my initial suspicion wasn’t correct - the holes on the tag aren’t to make it beep. So at least that’s something.
It seems that ease with which lïfting tools can be bought online hasn’t gone unnoticed, and it’s resulted in stores trying to find new ways of deterring us. Hence this new tag. The store that use it have reported a 60% reduction in retail items with this tag. It’s spreading as well: the UK store Matálan has also begun trying it out.
The tag can be removed, but not without a large amount of damage to the garment. I lîfted two pairs of jeans during this trip to Rîver Îsland. Both pairs had a concept tag pinned to the seat of the jeans. I opted for cutting the tag out, and was left with two large holes:
While they were easily patched, the damage ensures that one cannot boost clothes in this condition. Also, I doubt everyone has my amateur sewing skills😅😅 Luckily, no one I’ve worn my jeans around have noticed the damage…
There appears to be a way around them, though it’s not really accessible to us due to the pricing. Here’s a page selling a Concept Tag unlocker, complete with a video!
http://shopliftingpro.net/shop/concepttag/
I’m adding some links to my sources. Also, here’s an image from a video they had on their site:
They got a fellow lïfter to try unlocking the tags and seemed pleased when he accidentally hurt himself. Assholes.

👏If👏an👏SA👏CSes👏you👏don't👏lift👏
And be smart if you do- don’t let them search your bags and do it with a cocky ass smile knowing they can do nothing. Hold the power and ruin that bitch of an SA
Amen and amen! Couldn’t lift more than a tiny perfume from Lush today, SAs were swarming the place and a new one one asked me every two minutes if they could help me. Four different ones in 10 minutes. My lift plan was a bust but it’s always better safe than sorry.
What I wear when lifting…
This oversized sweater and spanx top:
I can body conceal shoes, bunch of shirts, a bulky sweater, and like 5 jeans with no bulging. And I still look trendy and fashionable.
I haven’t tried a huge haul with this outfit yet but I’m excited. Also if you’re wondering how i conceal my magnet, I wear these padded butt lifting shorts and hide it there.
Also, my magnet is from amazon. It’s as strong as a golf detacher if you get 4 of them. I have two and they used to work on those strong h&m tags but becareful cause they break easily
You’re welcome✌️
💕💸💕
why do normies enjoy having the moral highground so much 😭 i can’t

any1 have tips for śpęncêrs lol i want that pink vibe everyone has 😤
Cameras there are mainly to watch workers. Corporate will basically go back on cams if something big happens…like a medical emergency.
You literally need to make sure there are no workers around and that’s it. S is one of the easier places to take from because they provide you with so many hiding spots.
Basic things here, just be polite, don’t go in with a huge purse, don’t get workers to watch you by being giggly around the sex toys.
thank you!!!!!!
Oh I just thought more lol…
S usually has secret shoppers twice a year. Can be more, but never less. If a worker is right by the entrance and greets you right away, it may be secret shopper time. Come back in a week or two.
They usually open with just 1 worker [a supervisor or above], but close with 2 [sup+ and an associate]
As with most mall stores, go in with a hot topic bag if there’s one around.
Good luck!
what’s a secret shopper???
a secret shopper is someone employed to go to a store and shop like a regular customer while actually assessing the performance of the store. they give feedback. the whole thing is done in order to improve store standards. SAs typically get very attentive and strict around secret shopper time since any customer could be a secret shopper testing their performance :0
