Elizabeth Olsen at the âGodzillaâ Press Conference in New York (May 04)

âThatâs one hell of an offer. Still, your brother is more of my type, baby.â Sofia winked. She smiled when Lucy said she was a little tipsy. Even better in Sofiaâs eyes. More chances to mess with her. âMaybe I should walk you back to your motel then. Wouldnât want anyone else with light steps to show up.â
âOh. Ew. No. Donât you- no, donât talk about my brother like that.â Lucy pulled a face and wobbled a little on her feet. âReally?â She chuckled. âThatâs not a bad idea, actually, Iâm too buzzed to keep my guard up. You can be my security for the night.â Lucy grinned.Â
lustrouslevenâ:
Having been working on making snap judgments, she elected to allow Lucy to become part of her day and her space. She seemed harmless enough and even if she was harmful, the hunters in town werenât looking for her kind and most of them could be easily fooled by the âiâm one of the good onesâ act. But that was beside the point. âIâm not ashamed of it. Iâm content in the fact that people find it hard to get along with me, it means Iâm unique enough that it takes more effort. If it was easy, Iâm sure Iâd have a lot of fake friends.â She thinks out loud with a shrug. Perhaps she had many more insecurities than she let on, but being hard to get along with wasnât one of them. Those who took the time to get on with her knew as much and hopefully didnât regret it. âI had a twin. Itâs the more intense siblingship there is.â She was sure of it all the while knowing how close other siblings seemed to be in this town and her own coven. âLeven. And youâre fine to stay if you want?â
âOh yeah, rock on, man. Nobody with half a brain wants fake friends. Iâve always been a bit of a loner, too.â She shrugged. âNothing wrong with that.â At least she didnât think so. Yeah, she loved to talk to everyone but that didnât mean she actually had a lot of friends, they were just people she sometimes spoke too, most of them anyway. Her face could have twisted into one of those sympathetic smiles but she knew how much most people hated it. She knew she did. So instead, she crossed her legs and nodded as if to say she would stay a little. âTell me about them?â She didnât have to but it was nice for some people âI mean, is it true twins can do the whole telepathic thing?âÂ
hendrixrubyâ:
* âThat sounds like a challenge to call you anything but your name.â She joked. âIâve lived in town officially about a month now but Iâve been studying at Whitmore for the past three years.â
âFeel free to rise to it.â She chuckled. âYeah? Whitmore is a Uni or something?â She didnât know. Why would she? She wasnât from around here. âWhat are you studying?â
thelastwhitmoreâ:
Heidi was barely paying much attention to what was going on around her. It was only that she had noticed a phone next to her and the girl beside her getting up. âHey, er, you donât want to forget your phone.â She nudged the phone closer to her.Â

âHuh?â Turning her head, she waved her hand. âNo donât worry, Iâm not going anywhere I just dropped my keys.â Lucy stepped off the stool to pick them up. âItâs like climbing stairs getting on and off of these things. Thanks though.â

She knew that she was only being reassured that it wasnât her fault, but it didnât really help. She spent most of her days with Riley, what with work and to not even noticeâ- or think to notice? That didnât stop her feeling guilty. She hoped she wasnât so wrapped up in her own drama to not care or pay attention to his, because, hand on her heart, it wasnât like that. She cared for Riley, just as much as she did for Lucy. âI will, for sure.â she nodded, confirming that she would tell her if she did spot anything. She wouldnât not. This was also making her more determined to press and ask more questions, figuring that she could make him admit something eventually. But sheâd have to work on her how, first of all. She didnât want to piss Riley off, sure, if she was pranking him sheâd be there in a heartbeat, but this was different. âReally? No way?â she smiled, chuckling a little. âSpencerâs cool.â she didnât think she needed to verbally say she was the owner, because it would be obvious. âDoes this mean I can get free drinks from you?â
Lucy nodded gratefully, hopeful and also trusting that Madeline would in-fact tell her. She worried about her brother more than anyone else, but she imagined that was because theyâd always been very close. âRiley practically raised me, you know? I mean, you know how it was. On the road and drifting from hunt to hunt, crappy motels and what not. Our parents, I love them, donât think I donât, but they werenât really there when we were kids. Always on a case and it was Riley who taught me things. How to read, write, ride a bike and stuff. You know, when I was eight, I tried to run away. I had this little blanket that I packed with my favourite book, a pillow and a pair of knickers and off I marched to the bus stop. In my head, I would make it back home to Ireland. But Riley was sat there at the station with this look on his face and I thought, shit, you know? Iâm in trouble. But he shook his head at me, and you know what he asked me?â Lucy paused. This was one of her most treasured memories. âHe asked me if I was actually that miserable that I wanted to leave our folks behind and find happiness somewhere else. And I told him yes, yes I am that miserable. And he said alright then, kid, guess I gotta run with ya then.â She laughed, looking at Madeline. âWe got on the bus, travelled for about ten minutes and then I panicked and said no, no way, we couldnât do that to our parents. I wasnât miserable, I was lonely. But he knew. At least I think he knew, I was just being a dumb kid. But he would have really just followed me, you know? He said that day that he would always choose me. Whatever I decided, wherever I wanted to go, heâd be there. And suddenly, I didnât feel so alone anymore.â Her feet skipped along the floor and she had a soft smile on her face. âHeâs always had my back, I like to think I have his, too. He struggles with loss. He lost his girlfriend and Linc and obviously, Dean is gone too... He finds this way to make it his fault somehow and it eats at him. Iâm not just here because Iâm runninâ from my own shit, Mads, Iâm here for him. To ground him and remind him that he can fool everyone else, but not me.â She knew Maddie would understand that, having a brother herself.Â
hendrixrubyâ:
* âI knew I liked your vibe for a reason.â She replied with a grin before ordering two Jack and Cokes. It wasnât the expensive good kind of whiskey but to be honest, Ruby didnât care much for the expensive shit. She drank enough of it when she was younger. âLucy, wasnât it?â She questioned herself more than the girl in front of her.
âNice choice.â She gave a good nod, JD was one of her favourites. It seemed to her already that she and Ruby were actually kind of similar souls. âLucy.â She confirmed. âBut Iâll answer to nearly everything.â Shrugging, she chuckled and relaxed back in her seat. âYou lived here long?â
madelinebrownâ:
Probably as expected the look of Maddieâs face was one of disgustâ as well as a mixture of confusion, first, whilst she processed what she had said, not quite cottoning onto what she was actually talking about until it clicked and then the disgust came. As if wondering why sheâd even talk about something like that in a public spaceâ- but her colourful expressions were done lightheartedly. Of course she knew Lucy had no filter, but that didnât mean she wasnât always surprised by what came out of her mouth. She did however, escape from her disgust with a laugh and a classic eye roll. At the mention of Riley, she soon became more focused as she listened. She wasnât aware that Riley was friends with Deanâ but then every hunter seemed to know each other, so it made sense. âWell before I knew all of this I would have said he seems okay,â which was the truth, Riley never really showed too much to her, but what Lucy had told her was making her think. Maybe next time sheâd see him sheâd inquire. âBut Iâm guessing he canât be, what with Dean.â was he just good at hiding his feelings? Either way, Madeline was starting to feel guilty for not even noticingâ or even thinking. âIâll check in on him.â
âOh, man.â A loud cackle of amusement burst out her mouth and she had to stop briefly just to clutch her ribs and bow down. âYou make it so easy, Mads. Such a prude.â Lucy teased, pushing her gently to wobble her steps. âIâm gonna have to get my camera ready to capture that face the next time you pull it. Itâll be my on Christmas cards for sure.â She grinned. âDonât worry.â She sighed, letting the grin slide away into a gentle smile. âHeâs difficult to get a read on. When he doesnât want you to see something, chances are you wonât.â She tried to assure, so Madeline didnât feel like she was missing something. âOh you donât have to do that, just... If you do notice anything?â She pointed to herself as if she was asking that Maddie tell her. âAnyway...â Skipping a little, with her hands clutching the jacket so it didnât blow up in the air. âI got a job at the Hellmouth.âÂ
vampirebrownâ:
Sofia had seen Lucy coming her way and she couldnât help the desire to mess a little with the girl. âWell, youâre gorgeous and all, but youâre not my type.â She joked with a smile. âDidnât mean to scary you. I just have light steps.â The vampire shrugged. âI was walking back home. You?â
âIâm not? Damn, you know, if itâs a dick Iâm missing I can be real kinky, Iâll order a strap on from Amazon and we can bang it out in the street.â She opened her hands out and shrugged. She was obviously joking, it was just like her to be vulgar with her humour. âItâs alright, Iâm a little tipsy so I wasnât taking much notice.â Lucy walked closer to her and smiled. âHome? So early?â Pouting, she shrugged. âThe same, I guess. My five-star motel awaits.âÂ
hendrixrubyâ:
* To be honest, the loser storming out was a welcomed bit of entertainment for the evening. She started picking up her winnings and shrugged. âWant a drink? My treat.â
âSure, thanks. Iâll have whatever youâre havinâ. I ainât fussy when it comes to poison.âÂ

Spencer heard the commotion and was on her way out to handle it herself when she heard Lucyâs voice, calm but firm as she handled the rambunctious man and his girlfriend. A self-satisfied smile crept up onto her face as she walked out of the office, leaning against the doorway and watching Lucy as she finished the job. It was preemptive, and she kept her cool despite the manâs impressive demeanor, charming him into agreement without making the problem any larger. She schools her expression into something more professional when Lucy turns around, but it becomes clear after a moment that sheâs not angry - in fact, sheâs pleased. âNicely done,â she says, giving her a nod of approval. âWeâll keep calling this a trial shift, but I had a good feeling about you for a reason. How do you feel about starting on Monday?â
A smile washed over her face, one filled with obvious relief. She hadnât thought sheâd done anything wrong but the fear was always there. Perhaps it was more her inner rebel that hated authority, though. Not that she didnât respect it, she did, but only because she had to. Respect was earned, boss or not. Spencer seemed alright so far though, she was pleased to admit to herself. âReally?â Lucy wobbled on the balls of her feet and nodded enthusiastically. âMonday sounds good to me.â She agreed. âWill it be you Iâm shadowing today?âÂ

William rushed over when he heard the screech, holding up a gun to whatever was attacked the girl that night. When he got to the girl and saw her alone, he quickly lowed the gun, and cracked a small smile when he recognized who he had heard. âLucyâ, he smile stretching out his arms and embracing her into a soft hug. âItâs been a while. Iâm good, aliveâ, he joked with a chuckle. âHow about you? When did you arrive in Mystic Falls?â, he asked her.
âThought you were gonna put a bullet in me for a second there, Will.â She chuckled, obviously knowing he was much smarter than shooting first. âWell, itâs good to see you, alive.â Lucy leaned back and grinned. âIâm good, yeah. Iâve been here a few weeks. Needed to get away for a while and I thought why not come and pester my brother.â She chuckled, taking it upon herself to loop her arm into his. âTell me what youâve been up to! The last time I saw you in person you were about as big as I am now.â Just meaning he was much younger. She was curious to find out what heâd been making of his life.Â
leosheppâ:
âYou didnât see it?â His hands dropped down, the disappointment all in his body language although he was careful with his right hand as to not drop what he was smoking. âNo use, I canât pull it off twice.â He shook his head, discouraging himself from even trying it once more. He had gotten it, he saw it, that had to be good enough because doing it again and failing would just be a real bummer. âWere you going to tell me to put this out?â He held up his hand, showing off the joint as if he needed to be that more obvious with it when the smell was probably doing a good enough job.Â
âSorry, man.â She pulled a face and shook her head. Maybe she had seen it but she wasnât entirely sure what it was he was talking about. âThatâs what he said.â Lucy poked her tongue out and chuckled. She always found herself hilarious even if nobody else did. His eyes let her know he was stoned, the obvious smell lingering in the air was also a big give away and she laughed when he asked his question. âWould you listen if I did?â She imagined not. âI wasnât going to say anything but since youâre already swinging in the rainbows how about you just hand it over. You know, share the rainbows and such like.â Cheeky? Sure, but it could hurt to try. âWhy this place?â Lucy wondered why heâd chose here to chill.Â
