she’d never been a big fan of buying in to all the fried stuff that places seemed to churn out these days. sure, in her younger years, she’d been just as guilty as anyone of ending up in a kebab shop at the end of a night out. but now ?? now she preferred a glass or three of red, on the couch, with a decent meal. vegetables. things that didn’t make her arteries feel as though they were hardening with every bite. “if you want good cheese, the black bottle is always the best.” nora hums. “they have the most delicious brie.”
“oh, yeah i’ve tried the brie. really good brie.” lukas decided that if he was going to be alive for as long as he was, he would poison his body with everything humanity had to offer. besides, every food item being churned out by trends seem to have the underlying purpose of killing someone with too much of it. so far, it had been going great; four centuries of questionable cuisine and he showed no sign of stopping. “so...i hear your daughter is in town? how is that going?”
