Evaluation
To create my website is used free web building software called Wix, the software was very simple and gave me a whole bunch of preset assets to use. My site works very well, all the pages are laid out exactly how I wanted them and the colour I chose really work well with the pictures and background of the website. The website works on both Google chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. I will continue to update my site as I create more art.
This is the contact page, i removed the telephone number for thet ime being as i do not wish to put one on there yet.
The about me page, I had to move some things around on the mobile version as it put them out of place. The picture was done in photoshop, I traced over a picture of myself.
This is the home page, i have been working on the colours/backgrounds and fonts and have also added in my pictures that i think are some of my best work.
Final product is nothing like these but this is the original storyboard for the idea.
Evaluation
Throughout this project my idea never really appealed to me, but I still used it anyway. I think it was just too boring but I didn’t really have the time or patience to come up with a decent idea, this caused my final piece to be very lacking in content and was only a total of 3 seconds long. My first attempt at the animation was a lot better than the final piece, it had a background and colours and was going to have a lot more frames (meaning more seconds) however the file somehow got corrupted and I was unable to open it to edit it. Thus I had to redo the animation, however this time I had hardly any time to do it and it ended up as a piece of trash. I would like to redo this entire project but manage my time a lot more efficiently so that I actually produce something worth watching. I also would like to add more after the animation, for example more droplets and more trees/plants, however I haven’t enough time to do this so it will have to stay as it is.
FEEDBACK:
CONNOR:
The fluidity of the tree growth and wind is very good however it is too short and the animation is too quick.

FINAL ANIMATION
1824 Thaumatrope The thaumatrope is a very simple form of animation where there is a different drawing on two sides of a pice of paper, with string tied to the left and right sides. When the string is twisted both pictures will appear as one.
1831 Phenakistoscope
The phenakistoscope consists of a spinning disc that has slits around (with pictures behind) it where you can view the animation as the disc spins. The phenakistoscope was only famous for 2 years due to the constant growth of technology.
1834 Zoetrope Invented by a man named William George Horner. The Zoetrope is an open cylinder with slits on the sides, inside is frame by frame drawings that will animate when the zoetrope is spun.
1886 Flip Book The flipbook was originally called a kineograph (moving picture) A flip book is made of a series of frames each drawn on a different page of a small blank book, when the pages are flipped and animation will happen.
1977 Praxinoscope Invented by Charles-Emile Reynaud. It is similar to the Zoetrope but with mirrors inside instead of slits on the outside.
Modern Animation Stop motion and cgi are the most commonly used modern types of animation.
For the actual visual content of my website i will probably choose the colours as I go along because i think that if i choose now they may not look as good as I would have though, therefore it is better to see what looks good when i am choosing. The background will be the same for every page (consistency is good) and will probably be on of the custom backgrounds that are already available as I dont really have any of my own work that would be a decent background and i wouldnt want to draw too much attention away from the content of the pages.
