STRUCK BY LOVE (GEN 1): PART 2

Let’s jump back into it with the happy family.

Last time, Olive was aging up to a toddler. And since then, her little sister Ivy was born!

Knox decided it was time he started contributing to the bills, so he finally followed his dreams of becoming a civil designer. And Cherise became so notable from her books that she was actually offered brand some deals!

Also: Shoutout to the She-Shed. Cherise needs to complete the writing, handiness, and charisma skills. So I gave her a cozy little skill-building area to focus on those three points of interest. * (I even threw a bookcase in there so that she can read skill books to mix up her routine.)

* Is it cheating to use the video station to work on her charisma? Or is it creative problem-solving because I fucking hate that skill?

In the meantime, Olive managed to master all of her little toddler skills just in time for her and Ivy BOTH to age up! On the SAME DAY!

Olive is clearly taking after her father. So maybe Ivy will look like Cherise when she gets older. *

* Also, it’s against the law to point out that I forgot to give Olive skin overlays when she was a toddler. Ivy isn’t the heir, so the least I can do now is make her the more slayful baby.

Cherise wanted to do something BIG for the girls for Winterfest. So Knox, being the outdoor lover he is, suggested that they work together to build them a treehouse.

And they worked so hard on it that Cherise actually mastered her handiness skill! Just two more to go!

The Lovetts had an amazing Winterfest, and enjoyed spending quality time together as a family.

I’m taking a break from the Prismatic Personalities challenge because Basemental is broken so I’m starting the Struck By Love Legacy Challenge created by @hellohopesims and @fruitysimsy!

Meet our founder, and the star of Gen 1:

Cherise Lovett

The first 3 people she ever met and befriended were all gay men, so obviously Cherise is Simnation's PREMIERE hag 🏳️‍🌈🫶

Immediately after moving to Brindleton Bay, she had a one-night stand with Knox Greenburg. And that actually did lead to a pregnancy, but Knox was cool with it and said he’d stick around.

The pregnancy was alright, but the birth was long and difficult. Knox stayed with Cherise the whole time and eventually their daughter Olive was finally born. 🫶

It was at this point that I moved Knox into the household and gave him a refresh, bc he had been so good and present during the pregnancy that Cherise fell in love with him and wanted to get married

They’ve enjoyed raising their daughter together, while Cherise becomes established as an author, and have even managed to keep their romance alive… TOO ALIVE, it seems! Bc Olive isn’t even a toddler yet, and Baby #2 is already on the way!

While they wait out the second pregnancy, Olive celebrated a birthday and Knox adopted a dog named Poppy ♥️

TS4 CC Download - Waterfall Bedroom

This has been a long time in the making, and I'm really proud of how it's turned out. The main inspiration for Waterfall Bedroom came from The Sims 1 Superstar expansion - after recreating the Art Deco-style dresser, I wanted to carry on, and so this whole suite was born. I always loved the American furniture from the 1920s and 1930s that appeared in previous iterations of Sims games, and especially as made by the custom content creators of the 00s. Nothing quite the same ever arrived with The Sims 4, so this is my attempt at filling that niche. There's a UK-specific nod here too though, in the form of the tiled fireplace, which can still be found in bedrooms all over the country. I hope you enjoy!
