She's encountered selfless warriors who sacrificed themselves for the people, she's had hesitant wielders who gained strength in failure and confidence, she's had hearts broken as her users fell in a spiral of darkness and never came back. However, she hasn't seen them all in one person since a thousand years ago. In the form of Chloe Bourgeois.

"You do not have a lot of admirable qualities as of late, my Queen," she looked at stormy blue eyes. "But traits...they are not permanent. They can be altered, everyday is a chance to choose something else. Are you willing?"

The blonde's response is cut short as the building shook after the akuma threw a massive boulder at the hotel.

Pollen hummed - or maybe it was buzzed - in amusement as Chloe Bourgeois rejected the butterfly sent out to her after Ladybug left her during their heated argument.

I already blew off steam and ranted plenty after watching it, and to summarise..

This is Derision levels of hypocrisy - being an abuse victim is no excuse for bullying, but stalking and obsessiveness are excused by trauma; refusing to let go and move one from your old enemies is petty and a sign of a weak, angry person, but the shows creator can dedicate at least one episode per shows season, to shit on his least favourite character and target a fanbase surrounding her FOR YEARS after her character assassination in canon

I liked Sabrina confronting her abuser and moving on, but it had to be ruined by Marinettes edgy aah laughter and corny zingers in response - you’re NOT taugh, lil bro😭✌️

You could physically see the writing quality taking a deep for this particular episode, which happens every time Thomas pushes his own agenda no matter what

This is JUST a season 5 Chloe ark rehash - this episode serves NO PURPOSE outside those few Lila and Noe involving scenes

Im not even that huge of a fan of Chloe, but this pettiness makes me want to be one with intensity out of pure spite. You’ll never make me hate her, Astruc - how about you touch some grass instead of arguing with your fanbase on Twitter 24/7

I feel so bad for chloe, she got spoiled by her father and abused by her mother, got her redemption arc deleted and lost her only friends all that while she was being manipulated by lila, her mother, gabriel and tomoe and then got blamed for everything she did even tho it wasn't entirely her fault, she was js a child, every adult in her life failed her.

i am interested in au where Ladybug sacrifices herself for the world and Chloe has to live with the world without her, slowly developing into some sort of vigilante whilst slowly learning more about Marinette and Ladybug through the eyes of the people who loved her and in their grief.
