Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.

I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.

Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

Oh, I love penguins. In my experience, they tend to be really cute, going to the mall, poisoning wine glasses, manning call centers... It's all very cute. And sometimes, that Cute becomes Cool, as you can see with the Elite Penguin Force, who could very handily catch Kira and survive, as if there was ever any doubt. These little puff-balls... They're called Puffles, are they? And they're considered, what, pets? A food supply? Well, as long as you consider it a companion, I'll allow you to keep it... I wonder if they can ingest alcohol... I'm sure no one will complain if I feed the penguins Hpnotiq... I'm getting completely off-track again, aren't I? Let's move on, before something else tips the iceberg...
