@lumenisse​   Flipping the sign of the Fortunitea shop to ‘open’ with a long-suffering sigh, klug had to wonder just how his empathy and want to help people subtly so he could go on his business with some degree of ‘seriousness’ - gosh forbid he go about looking weird because he was trying to be somewhat more sociable - had led to complete strangers approaching the store and himself like this. Gods above help him. Speaking of which, one of said complete strangers was at the door, no doubt waiting to be told their duties as an assistant. “Oh….so you really were serious about wanting to work here, huh. I’m honestly surprised you went through with it and didn’t forget about the whole thing.” Goodness knew he wasn’t the most agreeable at times. “I’ll pay you and any other assistant the same amount I get, but I expect you to work hard, right?”

❝ I am! Completely! I’ll work my very hardest, Klug-san. I have lots of cafe experience as well, so I won’t let you down! Eheh, I have a little experience with magical stuff too.❞

He smiles, completely oblivious to his new boss’ cynicism , already deemming him a good and kind person based on how much he’s spoken to him so far. ❝ Is there a uniform? I would be happy to start right away, if that’s okay with you. ❞ Yukito was very much a studious worker, well, at least when his low energy sleeping spells never hit. But for some reason, they never it as frequently as they used to, so it should be no problem here.

     The absent presence of a roommate was surprisingly beneficial for the Stage Girl. For one, it allowed Hikari to make as much of a mess as she desired; since she hated organizing her things anyways. This also had its drawbacks as well, and Hikari knew this deep down. She honestly held some form of pity for whoever would end up getting roomed with her eventually. For the time being she’d gladly take the extra space to herself.

     Another benefit to living on your own was only having to feed one person. Less money spent on groceries, and more to waste on frivolous things. Perhaps she’d look for some Mr. White merchandise here, if there was any. Food comes first though. A list of the groceries she needed on her phone, she strolled down the streets of Koi en route to a local mini mart.

     “Milk, bread, eggs… Maybe I’ll have enough for some chocolate.” Muttering to herself all the while, her mind drifts off to parts unknown. The mart was close enough anyways, just around the next corner. Head lost in the clouds, it’s no surprise that Hikari wouldn’t have noticed she was on a collision course with another individual. She slammed into them unceremoniously, mind reeling as it brings itself back to reality. Whoops, didn’t mean for that to happen.

      “S-sorry,” she chokes out to the stranger, not exactly all together just yet. “I wasn’t paying attention.” Her sapphire eyes shift to the side, not wanting to look the other in the eyes out of embarrassment. Curse her naturally ditzy disposition for getting her into situations like these. “Did I hurt you at all? I’m. I’m really sorry about this.”

Yukito hums, making his way to the market. Though some things were tough and he was worried, he didn’t find it too difficult to adjust. Especially with other half wanting him to live as normally as possible in this city as well while he took care of investigation. Even if Yukito wanted to help as much as possible, he respected wishes, focusing on what’s in front of him now. Currently, it was lunch and dinner for the next few days. He definitely had a a budget, but decided to pick out dinners as he browsed ingredients. 

Clumsy and airheaded as he was, he could not hear the girl muttering to herself around the corner, before there’s a collision. My, he was prone to these lately. Panicking, he becomes more concerned of her well-being than his own. ❝ I-I wasn’t paying attention either, I’m sorry! I’m fine, but are you hurt at all? ❞

I wanted to give you and yue your Christmas gifts while the chance presented itself s-so . . . here ! ’ two presents are offered; one silver and gold ( massive in size ) and the other blue and silver ( smaller ). they're both adorned with a rabbit sticker in bow's middle. the bigger present is a non-stick cookware set for yukito and smaller holds a glass moon with star in its center attached to a silver chain. ‘ merry christmas ! I'm happy y-you both were sent here. I missed you. ’

☆ Thank you so much, Micah, I love it. Hehe~ I wouldn’t mind if you came ome over, so we could cook together with this! I wonder if I wear this necklace, Yue and i both will be able to share it....? I’ll let him accept it, though. I missed you a lot too! He’s shy, but I bet ‘the other me’ feels the same way. B-but more importantly, are you cold? You’re shivering. Let’s head to the hot chocolate stand to warm up!

☾ Hmph. Yukito speaking for me like that... well, he wasn’t entirely lying, though I wish he’d be less shy in wanting to spend time with you. He is airheaded, but it’s not like him to worry for you when it’s not even that frigid..... Thank you for the gift, regardless. I do not know much about these human festivities, so Yukito ended up doing most of the work for your gifts from us. Thank him, alright?

Something was off… it was unlikely for Kalego to feel unease staring at the back of someone else walking the same direction as him. Some sense of foreboding? In his experience, too much peacefulness in the environment easily invites danger.

What should he make for dinner? Curry again? Nabemono? Okonomiyaki? Omurice? Probably something cheap......Yukito thought he should go job-hunting soon, browsing the assortment of shops and keeping a lookout for any ‘Help Wanted’ signs. Well not that he hasn’t already, having applied to the assortment of cafes in town. If he doesn’t hear back, well, he’s not affronted to looking the next island over. 

His head in the clouds, he doesn’t notice where he’s going, snapped out of his thoughts when he’s suddenly grabbed by the collar. ❝ W-Wah?! ❞

Alarm spreads on his face, Yukito turns himself, hand swinging at whoever captured him and landing squarely on the cheek, just as he caught the man’s words. ❝ A-ah? I-I’m so sorry! ❞

✕ ┊ Lio can say for sure, he didn’t expect his walk to be … interrupted so suddenly. He had just left his apartment for a moment to get some fresh air after spending most of the day inside, cleaning … cooking, things of that nature. He was totally in his own world before he almost felt someone’s eyes on him before he heard someone exclaim in his direction, he turned and only had mere moments to react to some sort of crystals being launched at him, using his promare quickly to stop them. His powers were weakened in this place but he was still able to defend himself. He stared for a moment at the … angelic figure that was before him, before it finally hit him that he called Lio “Cerberus”. Did he mistake him for someone he wasn’t ? That’s a bit awkward.

Ah, he’s made a mistake. Upon a closer look, flames burned neon colors and not a burning red. Wings beat and stops his flight, Yue lowering himself with arms crossed.

Why this man felt compelled to introduce himself, the familiar had no clue. Still, it’s not like this wasn’t ideal seeing as his only means of offense at the moment was wasted. ❝ I am Yue, a familiar of Clow Reed. What sort of fire magic was that you used? ❞  Pseudo-angel gets straight to the point. This city himself and Yukito found themselves in was indeed full of magic, but none Yue has come across even before his sealing. Well, this type of fire this ‘Lio Fotia’ wielded, it had a similiar compostion as Cerberus’ fire, but still different. Clearly different from the color. Yue had inheirted a curiosity for the different types of magic, any and all that were unfamiliar that he had picked up on.

     ‘ yukito ?  ’   rising  ,  thanking other for the assistance while equally apologizing for damaged groceries  ,  micah keeps hold of that hand.   ‘ it is you  ,  right ??  when did you get here  ,  what happened to everyone in your world ?  d-did they get taken too or is it just the two of you ??  ’

❝ Micah!! It is me! I’m so glad to see you! ❞ Joy spills over on his face as he salvages what groceries haven’t damaged; the ones that have he leaves neatly on a side that wouldn’t be tripped over but could still be eaten by strays as he reassures it’s really no problem as hand remains holding Micah’s. Luckily, the night’s dinner was unharmed.

❝ I arrived not too long ago. I haven’t seen Tomoyo-chan, Syaoran-kun, Kero-chan, or anyone from England at the station I arrived in. So I think Yue and I are the only ones here! Have you been here long? ❞ 

Once everything is gathered and bundled in one arm and Micah’s cane resettled into his hand, he walks withe the other man, truly happy to see him again. When he had disappeared, Yukito had assumed he went back home, but, feeling too melancholic with that thought, refused to believe so. How happy to find him again! ❝ Would you like to come over with me and join me for dinner tonight? I’m making curry since it’s simple and inexpensive.... I’d be glad to cook with you and catch up! ❞ He chirps, swinging their arms together as they walk.

Motes of disdain lingered beneath his cowl, framing a pale visage. He’d thought Runeterra had been rife with frailty, and yet Talon found himself set upon by sights that he truly abhorred. Soft hands and unburdened eyes alike. Those who knew nothing of strength, true struggle was found profoundly lacking.

Even still, he begrudgingly sauntered through the streets. Shoulder length locks of dark brown, no longer loosely covered by his avian hood. He’d been given all he needed, everything except for the vast majority of his arms anyways. Hatred still burned in his gut, a pit of coals banked for the sake of his beloved bladed gauntlet.  Roughly, he pulled a glove of heavy leather, effectively freeing his marred hand from the protective piece of treated hide. Bringing a roughened palm to his brow, he gently rubbed at the slightly heated flesh of his forehead. “Stupid!” Talon cursed, chiding himself much in the same way his mentor would’ve. 

Wandering to the beachfront, he splayed himself in the sand, eyes following the patterns of birds circling overhead, allowing a brief moment of respite as plans ruminated within his calculating mind. Idly, his fingers dug into the swath of sand spilling far to both his left and right. “I’d even take Shurima over this place..” He lamented bitterly under his breath.

Yukito had found himself lost on the beach. It should be obvious how to get back to the city, but apparently that wasn’t the case. He wandered, searching for a beachgoer that could point him in the right direction. A figure comes into view, Yukito approaching it when suddeny it plops into the sand! Worried, the young man hastens as much as he can to help them.

Having a closer look, the man seemed like something out of a video game. Well, he wasn’t one talk, being a vessel for a familiar, and besides, he wasn’t one to judge a book by it’s cover. The man seemed to be angrily grumbling to himself, though Yukito couldn’t quite catch what.

Because of the western side of my master and creator’s heritage, he created me with Christianity’s image of an angel in mind, but I am also an embodiment of his eastern heritage. Well, to be more accurate, more than angels as a whole, Clow Reed merely incorporated angel wings in almost all of his designs. His magic was a combination of both Western and Eastern in honor of his mixed parents, thus Yue was a mixture of the two. Though if he were to be honest, he himself represented the Eastern magic while Cerberus represented the Western magic. It was no surprise this man blurted out his species, thinking Yue to be kin. Still this was a rare opportunity to learn of what he was created after.

A rather large man laid beaten and bloodied in front of her. Despite her damsel in distress act, she seemed to handle the situation herself. ❝ Besides, you clearly did not need help. I’ve no patience for wicked women such as yourself.❞
