Terrible laughing gas experience

Sorry about the venting post y'all, I don't usually post stuff like this, but I just felt like putting my experience out there. :]

DISCLAIMER!! Lauging gas can be REALLY helpful for A LOT OF PEOPLE, please don't take my experience as an example, and do your research if you're really unsure. ^^ I don't blame anyone present when this happened. I insisted on using laughing gas on the day of the appointement.

If you don't feel like developing a bad opinion on it, or you simply don't want to hear a rando on the internet vent at the moment, (which is perfectly valid!!) DO NOT READ FURTHER!!!

I needed to get my blood drawn, but I am terrified of pain (most of the time), so we wanted to try laughing gas. Though apparently, if anxiety reaches a certain level, it can get bad-

My visual snow worsened dramatically, my tinitus became unbearable, and I felt like I was going to pass out. I was so overwhelmed I couldn't stand being touched, couldn't speak a word of either French or English (though that ain't a point that's hard to reach for me lol-), and I could barely process language. I still felt lucid though. very lucid. even though I was trying my best to hold onto my conciousness, and felt myself slipping away. I even forgot I was actually the one holding the gas mask for a bit-

When I got reminded to take it off since it was clearly not going well, I uh- took it off lol- and had a panic attack! fun! /s I calmed down a bit, and we tried the same thing again with a lower dosage, and surprise surprise! The same thing happened! (to be clear, trying again was my idea. Again, I don't blame anyone present there, they were actually quite patient! Shout out to my mom and the nurses there! ^^)

Safe to say we found out another way for me to get my blood drawn without the crushing anxiety lol. /lh

Lizpostors, and importantly, one Lizmate - aren’t naturally occurring creatures. I mean, before this, they were just regular crewmates who after certain events became these Lizpostors

As for links to posts... the only thing I can probably send you some info about Listard and Filerd, but since it’s old information, it’s unlikely to be accurate, because I only started fleshing out my universe about six months ago. Maybe, just maybe... Once I finish the written version of the comic and start drawing it, I’ll be able to fully explain their lore. Right now, I have about 40 pages of the written version of my comic in my notebook. I’ll start drawing when I have around 80–90 pages, because then I’ll be sure it’s 50% finished... Maybe my ambitions are too big, but I want to be proud of this comic, so... yeah :P
