my biggest takeaway from BnHA 223

first of all, gross. but second, RIP my “Kacchan will be his hero name” theory.

and honestly, I ain’t even mad. because now it’s not just a cool-sounding explosion-related name now, but it actually has meaning. a ton of meaning at that. this is the place where his hero made his last stand, where he gave up the last of his power to stand against evil. this is the place where All Might sacrificed everything to save him. this was the single most defining moment of Katsuki’s life, the moment when everything started to change for him. this was the incident that broke him so that he could ultimately be rebuilt stronger than before. this is the place where the torch was passed on from one generation to the next. it means everything.

so okay yeah, if Katsuki ends up picking Bakushinchi/Ground Zero as his hero name in this context, with this image of All Might standing tall one last time in his mind… I’m down with that. I’m so fucking down you guys. shit.

This precious FRIENDSHIP is the character development I'm wishing for.

First because it's about time for Bakugou to rely more on his classmates, other than Kirishima, and second because we know Jirou has the guts for standing him.
