my ssris make me very stable moodwise usually but it means when I get very intense emotions I have no idea how to handle them and it feels all consuming

the feeling has long burnout and faded now but it felt unending when it came and I know ill have these same episodes when Im hit with other intenses feelings

I get anxious sharing all this but thats the context for this oil pastel experiment

⋆'ve been a bit dead for a while but Im back now!! I was very ill in Decemeber so I hope 2026 will be kinda to me 😭

⋆Truthfully I get very scared to set new year goals or share them since I get upset and embarrassed when I fail them

⋆I am going to force myself to share and try be kinder to myself about failure as its something I need to get better

⋆This year I will be aiming to vend at a market or convention, I've loved attending them and they always inspire me a lot so it would be a dream to sell at one!

⋆If you've ever wanted physical merch of my work I hope to be able to deliver this year! as well as potentially opening an online store

I made these to create matching patches for clothes as well as mini prints I've been really sick this month and recovering a lot so emergency lino from the back log (╥﹏╥) Lino is by far my favorite traditonal craft, its so fun but I wish it didnt hurt my hands so much hehe ˙◠˙

This was a pony design I made late one night when suffering from insomnia, a mix of sea kelp and glorpy alien cuteness

Here's some rambling below,

At the start of a season I love to think of some fun things to do to make the most of it. Here are some of the results... 𓇼I was happy to swim in the sea, it was freezing since I have pretty terrible timing and missed out on the heatwaves, but it was pretty thrilling as a result. 𓇼I got to see commorants diving in the ocean and their red lined beaks were just so striking and cool to see. 𓇼I was attack by seagulls as a result of not guarding my donut well enough, it was pretty funny to be honest. 𓇼 I found a piece of seaglass with these cool ridges in... I want to see if I owuld be any good at wrapping it to make some kind of trinket....

Now to think of some autumn activities... I find disablity really limiting so I like to hold onto these few things I can do and try to enjoy the natural world around me as best i can still. Thank you to anyone who read all this... Ive had a lot in my head and getting back into art has been hard but I miss it a lot. Hope you all had some nice summer moments too 𓇼ଳ˚☀︎
