The librarian sort of startles. Oh how did he forget that Namine was in there? He holds his chest a bit, catching his breath, a bit flighty as he was in the middle of his own thoughts and focused on the task at hand.
“Oh. Namine. Nothing’s wrong with them. I was just going to see if any of the other patients would like books brought to them. Since they don’t really come here anymore. Would you like to help me?”
She misses that he’s startled blinking a few times before tilting her head at him, blonde spilling onto her shoulder. The task brightens her up and she nods, deciding to help him deliver books. She’d be more than happy to help him deliver them! That sounded exciting, much more fun than being bored all the time!
Affirmative noise, but then she realizes she wasn’t bored; that thought was untrue. She just needed adventure. This was that idea.
