More Than A Date || Luna & Charles
Charles was quick to respond to Lunaâs actions, wrapping his own arms around her as the flush on his cheeks darkened from the small kiss. He honestly felt so lucky, and he expected heâd feel even more so lucky as the date progressed.Â
âAre you nowâŠ?â At the mention of wearing two previously given gifts, he let go of her, taking a step back so he could see all of her. She did tell him to guess⊠âWell, the first one would be your pendant,â he started with a small smirk, leaning down a bit and tracing the line the chain made around the front of her neck. That was the easy one to find though, he realized as he straightened, pulling his hand away from her neck to rest against his chin. What else could she have been wearing though? Considering there was nothing else hanging around her neck, the options were limited. One look at her head made it clear she wasnât wearing the tiara he remembered getting her at the carnival, so that leftâŠ?
Memories of the gifts he gave her only a week earlier flashed to mind. In particular, thoughts of the ring and the small misunderstanding they had because of it. ââŠThe other wouldnât happen to be the ring I gave you, would it?â Her hands were behind her back, so he couldnât be certain, but the idea of her wearing it on the day he was actually going to propose mightâve had him feeling flustered.
âRight~!â she responded to the pendant comment, dropping her gaze to his arm when he reached out to touch her necklace. That blush of hers wasnât planning on fading away any time soon thanks to his small gesture, but she was honestly okay with that. Didnât take too long for her to get over being embarrassed about him seeing her like this, thankfully for her. âI donât know if I mentioned it yet, but I really do love this pendant...â The pinkette was speaking idly as he seemed to be lost in thought, she was left wondering what he might be thinking and how he might be feeling at the same time until he ended up saying something to distract her from her own thoughts.
âOh! Thank you for reminding me, I wanted to wear that too, but I left it in our room-- Probably forgot it when I was changing-- Ah, nevermind, Iâm going to run up there real quick. Back in a second~â„â
Without waiting another second, the tailor darted upstairs to grab the gift in question and rushed back down them this time around once the ring was on her right hand. âHere we go~!â she spoke in an excited tone, holding her hand out to him to make sure that he had a chance to look at the ring. â Now we can get going-- Oh, right! I was trying to make you guess what else I was wearing... Remember this?â The pinkette raised her left hand into the air to show off the Blue Lace Agate bracelet, then she gave him a wink and giggled at the old memory that came to mind.
âI think I was surprised when you gave this to me back then... I didnât expect anything from you, but it made me realize that there was more to you than meets the eye. Iâm thankful that you gave it to me... It was pretty helpful in that whole secret crush on you department~â„â
