the concept of umemiya being addicted to tsubaki's lips is interesting for two reasons. firstly, tsubaki is his boyfriend and umemiya loves him but secondly, it's because of the taste of tsubaki's lip gloss. it starts with a "good morning, my love" when umemiya greets him as he comes onto the rooftop, and progresses to the occasional chaste kiss or peck to keep tasting tsubaki's lips throughout the day - until umemiya holds tsubaki's neck in place while sucking on his lips like a starving man.

thinking about umemiya tinkering and working in his rooftop garden, with hiragi sitting around him, everything seemed harmonious but for the occasional sighs umemiya let out, which hiragi was determined to ignore, knowing full well what they were for. after the fifth one in under two minutes, hiragi couldn't stop his eyes from twitching with every sound umemiya made. "argh, fine! tell me then." and as if someone had turned a switch, umemiya straightened up with his signature bright smile and began to tell the tale of how tsubaki and he had talked on the phone all evening, and how tsubaki had shown him the new clothes he had bought! 'Isn't that domestic? He's so amazing!'
