Misery is a phantom jellyfish that hides in the most abyssal zones due to the fact that she is afraid of almost everything; light, people and other creatures that can potentially hurt her. Although Misery is not the largest among all her family, she is still one of the most creepy and mysterious creatures. Because even from miles away you can hear her long, doomed cry....
Siam is a mix of catfish, seal and selkie from Scandinavian mythology. One of the most harmless, social, and more tolerant of humans, unlike many other siblings. But he is still cautious about many things, as there have been more than once when he could have been killed by both his own family members and the humans themselves. Siam also tries to avoid conflicts with other beasts as often as possible, but at the same time tries to establish relationships even with the most aggressive ones, since they are still a family. So far, there has been little success, but he has those who can definitely be trusted without fear for his life (Kaia, for example). Sometimes he comes ashore and disappears for days, weeks, or even months
River Child or "The Princess" is, in fact, both the youngest and the oldest of all the children... But her main feature is that she is also literally the most biological child of Dad Ocean. She was born, separated from his flesh and developing independently for many years in places far from her native home. River shows herself only to those from whom she doesn't feel threatened and malicious intentions. Even though she has never seen her father, much less her siblings, she has a strong connection to Ocean, through which (unlike him) she feels all the pain that people inflict on him, and from this she deep down dreams of saving them all...but she's too small, and unfortunately she only has to watch our vices

How are they born and do they reproduce? I can't say exactly how they appear, but I'll say the second thing: no, they don't engage in incest, even in the most extreme cases (which are rare). They are almost all essentially asexual, and love is like the strangest and most unique feeling for them. This has happened several times in their history, but they may have felt love for humans or other creatures from the land. And honestly, these sea creatures do not need to reproduce at all in our usual concept, since they can live for more than a hundred years, and sometimes several centuries. They may also look different. Some look like just anthropomorphic versions of known species, while others are completely bizarre mixes or maximally separate creatures
What do they eat? Of course, none of the siblings will hunt each other for food when the water is so full of ordinary marine life. But unfortunately, nature is still cruel and there have been cases of cannibalism and murder among siblings, which could be condemned, but can't have control even from their father
Division of territories...as I mentioned (or not?), many of them are territorial creatures, which is not surprising, because every member of a large family wants to have a personal space. So it happens that as a result of such skirmishes and misunderstandings, fights result, leading to disastrous consequences. Contacting humans is generally "We don't talk about Bruno" ahh 😭.
