I think the absolute refusal of most academics and philosophers to be prescriptive rather than descriptive is one of the things I hate the most. Like how can you spend your time investigating these problems and then just go “well I investigated them, good for me”? It’s a weird attempt at depoliticizing the act of knowledge production, even from scholars who theoretically should know better

Roxana Quispe Collantes es la protagonista en presentar la primera tesis posgrado en la lengua quechua en la Facultad de Letras y Ciencias Humanas de la UNMSM.

For the first time in history, a PhD thesis will be defended in the Quechua language, an indigenous language of South America. This doctoral thesis will be presented by Roxana Quispe in the Peruvian university of San Marcos. She has a masters of linguistics and wrote her doctoral thesis entirely in Quechua, about the poetry of Andrés Alencastre Gutiérrez. The title of her thesis is "Yawar Para, Kilku Warak’aq, Andrés Alencastre Gutiérrezpa harawin pachapi, Qosqomanta runasimipi harawi t’ikrachisqa, ch’ullanchasqa kayninpi”
