Instinct – Luisa Uribe
I wanted to combine the visual of a playing card - as I felt the idea of a piece that also works upside down would work well with the theme - with a contrasting concept, in this case it being day/night and wild/controlled and civilized.

Happy Thursday!
Hopefully everyone is doing fantastic, we sure are. Today, our daily dose of artistic inspiration comes in the form of a brand new artist interview.
Luisa Uribe is a seriously talented Colombian illustrator who’s work if bursting at the seams with color, creativity and personality. Hop on over to this link here to read about her inspirations, favorite projects, and insights into her work!
If you don’t have time to read the interview right now, go take a look at her website and instagram and treat your eyes to some great artwork (as well as a ridiculously cute cat), you won’t regret it. Her art prints of this piece also still for sale up on our shop for anyone that’s interested.
Cheers and thanks for looking!
My interview with #lightgreyartlab is up! I’m very grateful to them for the interest in my work and the opportunity to talk about it for a bit :)
