This page is a gender-critical (radical feminist) page although I do touch over subjects such as health and improving lifestyle.

I’m 19, I enjoy digital art, I was thinking to post some on here, I am not sure though.

For everyone I do ask refrain from sending direct hate to people I reblog and mention, everyone deserves their respect. I know it’s the internet so some people are going to have God complexes or just think anonymity  makes them untouchable so it’s bound to happen, I am aware.

I need people to stop excusing the misogyny of young boys. Not only is it daft--because men don't just wake up one day being misogynists, it's after years of reinforced sexism built up throughout their lives--but it also shows how little they care for young girls.

Even if these boys "grow out" of their misogyny (?), the young girls surrounding them at that time in their lives still had to deal with sexist comments and language and behaviours that will shape them in their own lives. It is spirit breaking for girls to have the inappropriate actions and words from their male classmates, male neighbours, brothers, cousins, etc., not only dismissed but unopposed and unchallenged, because for some reason it is seen as acceptable in young males.

There should be a zero tolerance on any misogyny from boys

Women in the gym

I am 19 years old and I have been going to the gym consistently for 6 months now. I have gotten into body building but have thought about competing (not physique competing but actual weight lifting competing) I have found that some of my friends have talked about trans people in sports and no shame to them but they don't workout or don't weight lift like I do (like benching or squatting with a barbell) . I never realized just HOW much men are stronger than women, until you walk into a gym and realize how slow your progreess will be compared to men and how much they can outlift you is baffeling. I am not upset by this, it's just biology and I am proud of the progress I made but the thought of a man just competing against me would make me so mad, since I know how much work I put in and it would have never had a chance to win. My brother benches almost 2 plates and he's only been working out for 2 months. I've been benching for 6 and I am just shy of a plate. And this was just about weightlifting alone, no change rooms included. I tried to tell my friends how it would be really unfair but they really didn't really understand. Now I couldn't imagine contact sports... that must be really rough if they were to allow transwomen to compete.

I’ve never said trans people were monsters or that they shouldn’t live in peace. My issue is with trans ideology, which openly perpetuates misogyny and homophobia, not trans people themselves

the reason tras say “sex and gender are different things!” then get confused when you tell them “we want to abolish gender, not sex” is that they DO view sex and gender as being the same thing.

to them, sex is the “gender” that you were born with. they believe sexes have certain inherent qualities about them, and that people who don’t fit their sex’s qualities can switch to the sex most in line with their qualities. so basically all they’ve added to 1950s conservative views on gender is the ability to “switch between the genders,” rather than trying to remove the idea that your neutral biological body is linked to a variety of stereotypes.

TRAs definitely seem to ignore the line between gender and sex. As you said OP, I think they see it as the same thing sometimes, but in a ‘you are the sex you ID as’ way rather than a biological reality. But I also think that they sometimes understand the distinction but because they think gender is more important than sex that they can’t even conceive of the idea of abolishing it.

Or maybe it’s just as simple as they don’t care about what arguments we make and it’s easier to act like we’re dumb conservatives than to fight against what we’re trying to say.

This was under the image of an actress having arm pit hair. An actress who is openly supportive of the LGBT community is now being questioned as being a "terf" because she has arm pit hair. I thought it was satirical but this person was being serious. TRAs hate GNC women.

And if this is Michelle Rodriguez whom I think it is because she had armpit hair in that DnD movie, they are doing this because she's one of the few Hollywood women who only takes kickass roles, has actual muscles and is openly bisexual (and actually has dated plenty of women unlike other hollywood Bis who are bi in theory). A same sex attracted brown woman displays a little GNC behavior and suddenly she gets terf allegations!

I thought terfs were the ones who "set unobtainable standards for womanhood."

Men in Art

I go to art school and this art school has Film Production, Video Game Programming, Acting, 3D (3D animation ---- Modeling, Animation etc) , 2D (classical animation), Concept art + more. I am in the Concept Art program and first thing I have found is that men in these programs have been kicked out wayyyyy more often than women. I actually don't know a single woman who has been kicked out of any program. But I have heard stories about men who have been kicked out and honestly one has been kicked out because his interactions with me. Knowing this information, I can see why women do NOT want to go into male dominated fields because I can only imagine how much worse it can be. So much sexualization of women from men in the art department and so much casual misogyny. So many men get kicked out because they harass the other students mainly. Esp, in the acting department. It's crazy. I could only imagine how it is to be a woman in stem. I just wanted to say what its like to be in an art institution and how they men are like in this environment.

Been noticing more and more that “serving c*nt” and something is “c*nty” is becoming more popular of a word and phrase. Mainly to say something is “slay” I suppose. And surprised surprise it’s mainly said by gay men. Actually infuriating. Women don’t get the chance to even have the decision whether they wanna repurpose or reclaim a word that has been weaponized and used against them. Same thing happened with b*tch….

Can you men actually recognize they are slurs and not for you to use ? And if you do use them don’t direct them at women…

shaving, makeup and beauty

I no longer shave my armpits and I feel very comfortable with that and in fact think if I were to shave my armpits it would kinda odd, like something I should have is missing. I love the fact I no longer have to constantly fight my bodies natural hair growth. This month for April I decided to stop wearing makeup for the month though, because when I wanted to stop shaving it took almost 1 year to finally feel good about not shaving so I know wearing makeup will be a similar process. I'll probably go back to makeup after this month but if I set months to not wear makeup then I'll slowly grow more comfortable without makeup :)

Radfems! I know some of you are craving more feminist film/TV media content. Check out the movie Level 16. The cast is almost entirely female, with the only males in the entire film taking on villainous, exploitative, intentionally personality-less roles. It serves as a pretty fantastic allegory for girlhood, taking on female socialization, exploitation (particularly regarding the beauty industry and anti-aging), internalized misogyny, class consciousness (and to a degree, consciousness raising), sisterhood, and female solidarity. My wife and I had some great discussions after watching, and I'd love to talk to more women about it!

I have been away from a long time, not consistently posting but since its WOMENS day tomorrow, I'll make more of an effort of posting since honestly following radfems makes me feel sane. I go to art school and I am constantly bombarded with "people with vagina's" referencing you know, biological woman, the only women that exist. It gets soooo frustrating sometime because I know I can't say shit about it.
