Much like the current craft beer movement in South Africa wine is also undergoing a bit of a natural revolution. A small group of wine makers in the Western Cape are championing natural techniques. The latest is a wine by Eben Sadie and Adi Badenhorst called Silwervis slang for 'papsak' or box wine that hails from the Swartland. The wine was made in a concrete egg from Nomblot in France. Concrete has been used for making wine since the 19th century. The label was illustrated by South African artist Conrad Botes.
