Hi!!! Absolutely adore the look of your introduction post, how do you get the gradient text?? :)

Text Color Fader - Gradient / rainbow text for email, forums, etc

sooo insert your text first & choose how ever many colors you want for your gradient, there’s going to be automatically chosen colors but you can change them by dragging the cursor towards the colors u decide, then generate the text and copy it!

open the tumblr WEBSITE and either open a draft or make a new post, in the top right of the post you click the settings button, at the bottom you’ll see text editor, it will automatically be saved to rich text but change it to html text, now you’ll see the coding.

read very carefully & figure out where you want to insert the coding. when you find where u want it, paste the text you copied earlier. scroll allll the way to the top & you should be able to preview it. hope this helped!

Why can't you send the same request to another writer?

Asking because im actually wondering!!

sending the same specific request to writers removes the originality — yes tropes and prompts exist which is why there's thousands of fics with the same 'theme' but not every one of those fic follows the same specific pattern.

copy pasting a very specific request and mass sending it to a lot of writers is also pretty disrespectful and unfair 🤷

but why is it disrespectful?

these things are really disheartening: this one person sends u a very specific thing they want u to write nd its like they trust u w it!! then u find out they sent it to other people, add a few nice words and it's just stupid

besides removing originality it's disrespectful because it's like ur treating us writers as these robots you feed with specific code you want when we're already dishing out free content. we're humans too!!

note. common/general/vague requests like maybe first kiss hcs, or first dates — they're all okay because they're something everyone thinks of!! the problem is very specific requests copied and pasted to multiple writers inboxes
