Shigaraki crushing on a healer S/O ||

note: just to clarify the reader isn’t his S/O yet. I might continue this story

Tomura Shigaraki

He was out on a mission with Kurogiri when they suddenly ran into a bunch of heroes and got into a fight

They really weren’t prepared for it but luckily they got away with just a few minor injuries

Kurogiri summoned a portal and as soon as they got back to the hideout Shigaraki was having a temper tantrum, dusting random items and yelling about how heroes were a bunch of assholes.

He stomped back to his room and slammed his door while telling everybody not to bother him and saying that he’d kill whoever dared to interrupt him

You were a new member of the LOV. Dabi invited you to join the league after he found out that you were a pretty good healer.

You were watching a movie in your room when you suddenly heard someone knocking on your door. You quickly opened it only to find Krurogiri on the other side.

“We have recently come back from a mission. Your leader is hurt, please follow me to his room and do your best to help him with his injuries” he said

You were nervous you haven’t met the so-called leader yet although you had heard lots about him from Dabi. Mostly stuff about him being a “crusty asshole”.

He led you down a hallway in front of a room with a closed door. “That is his room. Go in there and help him”.

He turned and left. You took a deep breath as you gathered the courage to knock on the door.

Shigaraki was sitting in his room currently trying to distract himself by investing his time into a new game when he heard a soft knock at the door.

He reluctantly walked to the door and opened it getting ready to yell at whoever was on the other side when he saw you. Who the fuck were you?

“Um- h-hi Kurogiri sent me here to help you. Something about some injuries?”

Shigaraki would normally never let anyone in his room but you seemed so genuine and vulnerable he couldn’t turn you away. He made a notion for you to follow him in while he sat on his bed and took off his shirt.

While walking behind him you took notice of all the games on his table as well as the posters on the wall.

He let out a light cough to get your attention and you lightly blushed when you noticed he had taken off his shirt.

You would’ve spent more time admiring his chiselled form if there wasn’t a huge gash across his chest.

“Yikes, that is a nasty cut.” you slowly approached him and got on your knees. You gave him a look asking for permission to touch him.

He hesitantly nodded and you proceeded to explore his body. Shigaraki wasn’t used to any of this so when your fingertips lightly grazed his chest, he unintentionally jumped at the contact.

You gave him a sweet smile and laid your hands back on his chest trying to help him relax. You closed your eyes and let out a breath starting to use your quirk.

Shigaraki couldn't take his eyes off of you the whole time. He felt the wound slowly closing up and the pain dissipating, he should've been relieved yet he found himself feeling disappointed knowing that you'd leave after healing him.

You opened your eyes and examined the area that you just healed.

“You’re all good” you said. You stood up and brushed off the dirt that got on your legs, the situation quickly got awkward and you found yourself not knowing what to say.

You were about to leave when you noticed that he was roughly scratching his neck. Without even thinking you grabbed his wrist and pulled his hands away from it.

He looked at you with wide eyes and confusion all over his face. With a quiet voice, you spoke “You shouldn’t do that, you’re gonna hurt yourself if you don’t stop.”

”It’s not a big deal. You don’t even know me so why don't you mind your own business?” he snarled. His voice was mesmerizing. You found yourself wanting to hear it more.

“Because I care,”

“Why?” he quietly muttered, you barely heard the words that came out of his mouth.

“I don’t know” you whispered back. You didn’t know when you got so close but you could feel his breath lightly tickle your face.

For some unknown reason you placed a chaste kiss on his neck. You snapped out of whatever trance you were under moved away. You walked to the door but before you left you turned back to look at Shigaraki.

“Dabi told me you were an asshole... but you’re actually kinda nice.” you lightly giggled as you quietly closed the door and walked back to your room.

He was left sitting on his bed holding the spot that your lips just touched, he could still feel your lips on his neck.

Shigaraki had no idea what just happened but one things for sure, he wanted more.

He lied on his bed with a dopey smile on his face, his mind constantly replaying the events that just happened moments ago.

He couldn’t help but think. “Who is she and how do I make her mine?”

order up ! one fresh cappucino + pumpkin + cream for diluc! prompt: you and diluc complete your commissions and take shelter in wangshu inn from the rain. there's only one bed in the room. you fail to see how this is a problem. now serving: diluc x gn!reader warning labels: diluc is exhausted and therefore extra sappy <3, fluff, humor fic? kinda word count: 0.8k words

barista's notes: uhhh went a joke-y route with this? i hope that whoever requested it still likes it tho LOL

when the rain begins, diluc almost immediately shrugs off his own coat and drapes it over your shoulders, ignoring any of your protests for him to wear it instead. you know him well enough that he isn't changing his mind when he gets like this, so you begrudgingly lift the coat up over your head to shelter yourself from the rain. diluc walks beside you, slowly getting drenched from the downpour as the two of you scurry to wangshu inn in hopes for shelter.

the two of you book the last room available and diluc leaves wet footprints behind as the two of you finally get a chance to rest. after completing your commissions, fatigue sinks into your bones and you can clearly see it in diluc's own figure as well. yet, for the rain-drenched man, the foremost thing on his mind is the nice idea of a warm shower, so diluc slips away from you and into the bathroom.

you, on the other hand, are far too exhausted to wait for diluc to finish up. instead, you peel off your soaked pants and relatively-dry shirt and slip on the extra pair you had packed in your own bag. the dry clothes feel like heaven on your now chilled skin, but nothing quite satisfies you like flopping onto the bed.

when diluc returns, he changes into his own spare set of clothes. his cheeks flush bright red as he catches your gaze when he shrugs on his shirt, yet his eyes widen even further the more he looks at you.

"is something wrong?" you ask genuinely, tilting your head to the side.

"there is... only one bed. i can sleep on the floor," the redhead immediately offers and you let out a perplexed laugh.

"darling," you begin slowly. "did the abyss mage today cast a spell on you or something? we're married."

for extra reassurance, you wiggle your left hand up in the air, showing off the ring diluc had given you not that long ago. diluc stares at you, glances away nervously, and returns to staring at you. he blinks. he gulps. he blinks again.

"oh," diluc deadpans, before rubbing a hand over his face. "right."

he blinks once more and you can tell that your husband is about to fall asleep on his feet, so you bite back your laughter at his amused antics. you pat the spot on the bed next to you and diluc climbs in next to you, before wrapping his arms around your waist and placing a kiss on your forehead.

"lulu, did you forget we were married?" you tease gently as his bleary eyes stare at you. they threaten to close at any moment, but a slight furrow of his brow lets you know that diluc is doing his best to focus on you.

"i am... quite tired," diluc explains. "but i cannot deny that my heart fluttered a bit when you reminded me."

your husband nestles himself further into your grasp, drawn in by your body's natural warmth. like a moth to a flame, you had said to him before. if you didn't know better, you would say that you were the one with the pyro vision instead of him with the way he clung to you at nights, but in his sleepy state, diluc is even more clingy than usual. you scoot up a bit to get a better grip around his waist as well and diluc uses the opportunity to burrow his face in the crook of your neck.

"ah, so you did forget?" you chide playfully and diluc lets out a soft hum. "do i need to remind you of our wedding vows?"

"no," diluc mumbles into your skin. "because even i knew that my heart would always belong to you, even if i didn't remember that you were mine."

in his sleepy state, diluc is much more vulnerable. come the morning, he will not speak of these sweet nothings he murmurs to you now and instead will showcase his love through his actions, but your heart clenches at his words nonetheless. in this moment, diluc is honest and true. so, rather than continue to pry abnormal words out of him, you press a kiss to the crown of his head as his breathing slows and his grip slackens.

tonight, you can afford your husband the luxury of lowering his guard. tonight, you will hold him and be the last to fall asleep... even if he had forgotten that the two of you were married in the first place.

tomorrow morning? well... that's a different story. you hope diluc is ready for the teasing that will ensue, but for now, you only wish for him to have sweet dreams.

Regarding the Situation & My Opinion

If you haven’t heard the voice actors and many players are boycotting the game. This has to do with Elex firing Jonah Scott (Victor’s new va). Jonah had made a tweet with “Taiwan is a country”. It’s been deleted and was a simple tweet.

Due to MLQC being a Chinese game they have to deal with censorship... but does that apply to Americans and their voice actors? Elex had fired Jonah over those four words. He’s even tweeted an apology. Many of the fandom including the voice actors were not happy about this.

The voice actors of Gavin and Kiro, Joe and Sean, have made it clear that they will no longer be doing their roles. They will if Jonah is rehired. The only person left who hasn’t spoken about their not reprising the role is Lucien’s voice actor, Bill. Shaw’s voice actor has made a tweet but I wasn’t exactly sure if it meant he was not reprising his role.

The reason why the voice actors and fandom are upset because it was seen as unfair. China and America are very different but I don’t think anyone would think that their laws are rules applied internationally. Sean had made tweets saying that no section of their contract said they couldn’t speak out or even mention these topics.

My Opinion

I honestly do see this as unfair and hope they rehire Jonah or maybe Ben. Those four words were a fact if you do search it up.

I’m really glad that the other voice actors stood by him and called what they saw as unjust. I think some would have even thrown him under the bus if it meant keeping their role and looking hood. Not only will they lose practically all their voice actors but the games would be backed up with finding new ones and getting them to voice everything.

As a player I will still play but not as much and I won’t spend any money. Honestly it reminds me of a situation with the discord for MLQC. One of the people someone by the account named Goldman got mad at others for sharing fan edits. They called it “spam” and even insulted them by saying how immature they were. Those people “spamming” the chat even apologized and suggested a chat for edits could be made. Of course they were denied and I believe insulted. The Goldman person even acted like a child and assumed their ages while insulting their edits. Is there something with the staff on expecting rules to be followed if they themselves don’t make others aware of?

In all of this I do see Elex as the one in the wrong for just firing him but also firing him for a rule they never seemed to mention to them. I do that there hands are tied but I really don’t see them bouncing back from this.

Don’t expect people to follow a specific rule if you don’t even tell them what it is!

Y'all it’s honestly so frustrating. I mean I get it, I want my work to be seen too. I’ll usually tag a few people that are present in the fic, in the tags, just to be more thorough.

But there is a fine line between tagging let’s say #Captain America and #Captain America x Reader when it’s a Tony Stark x Reader fic.

Especially since Tumblr’s tagging system is already kinda fucked, you don’t make it worse by tagging different people.

Sure, adding more people it gets your work seen in more tags, but not in the light you’d want it to. Personally, if I see a fic that has been tagged with a certain character, that isn’t the character I’m looking for, I pass right by it.

In fact, I make a point to not read it, because that’s just downright lying and frustrating as hell.

Another example, my friend and I like the YouTubers Sam and Colby, Devyn and Corey, Elton Castee and Aaron Doh. (Or the people that live/lived in the “Trap House”) While I like Colby (as does she) she also likes Aaron. So far we’ve only come across one Aaron fic, but in the Aaron Doh x Reader tag? All Colby fics. The only reason we found the one fic was because the girl posted her master list.

I’ve been encountering this since I joined Tumblr, and it’s always frustrated me to no end. So I’ve finally decided to say something about it.

JUST DONT DO IT. YOUR FIC WILL GET NOTICED.

Maybe not as much as you want it to, but that doesn’t give you a right to be disrespectful to those who do write, who aren’t getting reads because you decided your fic was more important. Thank you.

(And yes I will be tagging X Reader stories, not to be hypocritical, but because this needs to be seen by the people that are doing it) (which yes I know is also hypocritical but at least I acknowledge it)
