scorpius:
âNot sure Iâd call it enthusiasm. More like I just want to hang out with one of my old friends. It feels like I havenât seen you in years.â How long had it been exactly? It felt like there were very few people Scorpius actually ever saw from school anymore these days. Some he wished werenât that way, but even as much as he had liked to believe, he wasnât the brightest when it came to sharing things with people. âIâm doing okay, well as okay as a full time healer can be. Especially in this time.â Slightly, his eyes rolled. It got crazy some days, how many people heâd have come in for injuries. The war seemed to be coming fast. âA drink would be great. As long as itâs non alcoholic.â
"Iâm sorry that Iâm never around anymore. I just donât feel like I have, like, any reason to be.â She was clearly depressed--or, at least something of the like. She wouldnât be surprised. She should probably go to get her meds adjusted soon but, if she were being perfectly honest with herself, she had been avoiding all forms of help and all hospitals, especially since Scorpius had become a healer. She was not very open about her past struggles with mental health and tried to minimize judgement in any way possible, and avoiding relationships with people that she cared about was the easiest way she knew how. âYeah, I canât even begin to imagine how difficult work is right now.â She gave him a soft smile, getting up from her seat and getting him a glass of water and a soda, and a butterbeer for herself. She balanced them all, as a skilled waitress might before placing them on the table and sitting down from across him again. âIâll get you something else if you want, too. Just let me know what?â Lucy downed half of her drink, before wiping her upper lip, âHowâs Lily?â She was avoiding family pretty damn well.
