âIâm not sure what you expected but Iâm pretty sure it wasnât a lowly mage.â   She was used to the tone--because mages were seen in a pretty horrible light, itâs how the Chantry liked it and it annoyed Amell to death.
Rebekkah Amell, The Hero of Ferelden
âDoesnât matter what universe weâre in, you still are a giant dork.â
@apocketfullofmusesâ
âAre you alright?â Evelyn asked, her eyes full of concern.  She knew she had to help in some way, it was in her nature.
âYou do realize that what you said sounds ridiculous?â
âYouâre acting like youâve seen a ghost.â
âIs this what you call a threat?  Iâve heard more threatening things coming from a kindergarten.â
âDo I look like a damsel in distress to you?â She demanded as she sent a fireball at the ogre.  These things were ugly and huge.  She was obviously having the time of her life.
bad idea starters.
âon a scale of one to ten⊠how illegal do you think doing this is?â
âokay, but, consider this: i donât care. iâm gonna do it.â
âthere are certain moments where i consider you someone with brilliant ideas and a good future. this is not one of those moments.â
âhow hard is it to do a wheelie on a motorcycle? how many feet can you go, doing a wheelie, without crashing?â
âitâs three in the morning and iâm bored and youâre the only one awake. letâs break into a gas station store.â
âWHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT FILL UP A âSUPER BIG GULPâ CUP WITH 5 HOUR ENERGY AND CHUG THE WHOLE THING. MY HEART HAS EITHER STOPPED COMPLETELY OR IS BEATING SO FAST THAT I CANâT FEEL MY OWN PULSE.â
âis it a bad idea to use mountain dew instead of milk in your cereal?â
âi heard if you suck up enough helium, your voice starts to sound really squeaky⊠wanna go buy some balloons?â
âcan you cook bacon with a hair straightener? asking for a friend.â
âyes, i did beat him up and i will not apologize.â
âcomplaining helps the situation, like, not at all.â
âsooooo, i kind of adopted a puppy.â
Rebekkah thinks sheâs wearing down but she isnât at all.   She just doesnât have the Darkspawn blood in her to make nearly as sick as she was, she was sick a lot.   She will actually be better than she was since was in the Circle. Â
Since reuniting with her father, he has taught her to ride horses. Â He breeds Free Hold breed horses. Â Â They can only be found in Amaranthine now, and a special stock is used by the Ferelden Grey Warden Army. Â Â (In the real world they are called âAmerican Paint Horseâ) Â Â Once upon a time, they could be found all over the Free Marches but due to the fact that people viewed them as impure they wiped them out, the Amell family several generations ago saved them and began to enter the horse breeding, trading business. Â Rebekkahâs father took the last of the Free Holds with him to Ferelden.
Rebekkah after she had the chance went to the childhood home she knew her parents would have raised her in. Â She discovered all of her siblings had all been taken away, she discovered her mother had been buried in a plot of a land, no where near a Chantry per Revka Amellâs desires. Â Rebekkah did find and reunite with her father. Â They were peas in a pod and often Rebekkah spends time with him just talking when there is freedom to do so.
Rebekkah loves her mabari and very protective of her. Â Â Â She named her Molly. Â Â She adopted a second mabari that Teryn Cousland brought to her. Â Â She named him Grey.
Rebekkah was forced into the campaign against the Blight. Â No one wants to fight it, not really. Â Â She was facing a death sentence or tranquility which really was a death sentence itself. Â Aeonar from all accounts is just as bad or worse than sending a mage to the Gallows. Â So she was thrown to the wolves, but at least the wolves let her fight back. Â
One fact remains, in society she is expected to be a demure mage to not hurt a single fly. Â In the wild, they need her savage and wild to destroy something even more savage and brutal that would unspeakable things to her. Â No one would choose this life. Â Â So when she found a way out, yes she grabbed it with both hands.
Rebekkah Amell would become an apostate if it meant freedom for her body. Â The constant sickness, the nightmares, the cravings, the everything. Â No one would choose this life, this campaign. Â Not her, not anyone. Â Â She knows why they had to, the Blight has to be fought. Â But now, now the Blight is over, for a time.
Rebekkah never hated her companionsâthey were her friends. Â She would have set the world on fire for them. Â She never pushed them to be anything less than she knew they were. Â They are good people no matter what anybody says, you can fight her on that.
When Rebekkah focuses on something, she forgets all else. Â Â She wonât even take care of herself. Â Â She wonât eat, she wonât sleep. Â Â She just wants to get it done, and will even try to forgo sleep all together until she passes out from exhaustion. Â She believes her overall health should come second to everyone else. Â Â This happened several times during the campaign against The Blight. Â Â She would work until she exhausted herself. Â Â She was lucky the exhaustion never caught up with her on the battlefield.
