Friendly reminder that Mel and Jayce would have died holding each other if she wasn’t a mage.

I saw someone say “Jayce made the decision to die with Viktor” as an argument against Mel/Jayce. First of all, if Mel wasn’t a mage Jayce would have died with her in the explosion. Jayce shielded her with his body.

Does that devalue Viktor’s importance to him? No!

(And I know for a fact if they showed Jayce shielding Viktor with his body with Mel to the side people would be screaming “see it’s proof he doesn’t love her!”)

Second- was Jayce supposed to let Viktor die alone to “prove” he loved Mel??

I see this type of argument all the time.

“Jayce left Mel in bed to go to Viktor” - Yeah cause Vik was dying? Was he supposed to just go back to sleep?

“Jayce left Mel after the explosion to save Viktor” - One of them is perfectly unharmed and the other has two feet in the grave!

“Jayce spent all his time in the lab waiting for Viktor to wake up” - Mel clearly isn’t jealous, and of course he’s at Viktor’s side, he’s in a coma!

Those times “Jayce chose Viktor over Mel” were because Viktor needed him in those moments. Since when can you only love one person at a time?

Vi loves Jinx immensely and would do anything to save her. That doesn’t “take away” from her love for Caitlyn. The same applies for Jayce!
