#mel medarda #arcane #god I love her so much this makes my heart hurt #no one will notice the details probably and that’s okay but I’ll explain them just in case #like in the first one Mel is closer to the ‘camera’ bc she’s a bit more trusting #it’s more unpolished but vibrant bc she’s younger in that picture #there’s also more contrast bc atp she feels a bit more sure of herself and where she stands #in the second one it’s duller but there is still a heat to it. the flames of her passion and her hope haven’t died #she’s farther away and guarded. her head is up but she’s looking down #she’s putting on a brave face bc she has to but she’s looking down bc she’s still scared.#she looks more lost and closed off contrasting with how wide and bright eyed she looked before #Mel also looks more polished in the second drawing but still unfinished bc there is more of her story to tell #but also bc she’s still trying to figure herself out after finding out about her parents and her magic #Mel my love you will never be a passenger #also she looks so sad in the second drawing ough my baby :’(#Mel will get hugs soon I PROMISE!!!#I will draw her getting hugged. my love my baby Mel :’(#my little melly bug :’)
