Daniel and I have been trying to get out of debt and be financially stable for years now but this year, we’re a lot more serious about it. We stopped eating out, buying unnecessary things, getting more hours at work, and put a pause to our traveling. We even decided that we’re not going to renew our Disney pass in July if we’re not out of debt by then. We’ve had a pass consistently since 2009! We’re THAT serious, hah! But the two of the biggest reasons why we’re so determined now is because 1) we want to find our own place (it’s hard living with family with a baby! 🙈) and 2) we want to celebrate Knox’s 1st birthday at Disney World. Those two things can’t happen unless we’re out of debt so here’s to motivation and staying focus on our goals to reach our dreams! This photo was taken with my camera inside of a grocery bag because it was raining and thundering 😂 They almost cancelled the Wishes fireworks that night. The crowd gave up and Main Street was empty. We stayed and waited in the cold and rain. We were RIGHT in front of the castle. If I remember correctly, there were only like 10 other people waiting with us. And then after 20 minutes of hearing the “There may not be fireworks due to weather” announcement, the fireworks started. And it was just so magical watching the show without being squished in a crowd. And I’m glad that was my last experience watching Wishes. Excited to see the new show later this year ✨ #magickingdom (at Disney’s Magic Kingdom)
