"Do you know how fucking dumb you look?"
"Take what you want from me. Take all I've got from me."
"You're an artist, I'm a silly jerk, I think that dynamic could work."
"I'm eating rat poison for dinner."
"Here's a kiss goodbye."
"How does it make you feel?"
"I have faith in you, child."
"You're too young to be this empty girl."
"It's time for you to make a move."
"God, my blood boils at the sight of you."
"I'll undress myself for you, if you're at all interested."
"What do you have to say for yourself?"
"You never meant that much to me, baby."
"All I really want to do is be inside of you and make you happy."
"We should make a verbal agreement to only kiss each other."
"Please run away with me."
"I miss that day you spit on me."
"Hey, I'm the crazy one here."
"Thank God I found you."
"I'd rather die than let you ever get away with this."
"You people are unredeemable."
"Yeah, I'm wrong and you're right."
"Think fast, killer."
"No matter what, I'll always be your man."
"I want to get used by you. I want to get bruised by you."
"I'll dream about you, I will not doubt you with the passing of time."
"I've been betrayed by everyone I know."
"Everything that you do keeps me running back to you."
"You think I'm worthy of your wandering eye?"
"I miss you more tonight."
idk if I'm a strong enough person to keep resisting the urge to add more muses tbh

A spider. He had seen those pictures before. He shuddered to even look at them. They look horrible and disgusting.
Regulus thought for a minute. ā I had seen pictures, terrible looking things.ā He said in full disgust. Regulus sighs. He might regret this, but he does get scared of morphing too. He does! He just doesnāt share the fear as much. ā But then where are going to get one..ā He shuddered. Regulus needs to remember. This is a war, a silent one but nobody knows.
Only a few. Regulus took a deep breath. He kept on checking his watch then back at Daisy. He hates he has to feel this way. He hated it. He got up and paced around. He liked his pile of stuff he found. Reg just sits on the rug he found and he just sighs. ā Does anyone else have the morphing power? Surely there are others who know not just me and you.ā
"That's why they're perfect," Daphne says with a sighāit's not like she wants to morph a spider, but unfortunately that's what the situation calls for. "Humansāthe sane ones, anywayāgenerally don't want to get too close to spiders, particularly the ones that bite."
She pauses for a moment. "Unless they have a spider problem and keep spray in the building to kill them. That would be...less than ideal." She wonders if they could demorph before the poison could finish them. She's confident in her own abilities, but can't speak for Regulus. "You live in the forest, they're all over the place," she says with a shrug. She's been standing pretty still long enough that one's probably crawling on her nowāher body shivers reflexively at the thought. "From what I know, the real creepy ones mostly hide out under things. Under a log or a pile of leaves or something."
"I only know of one other person," Daphne admits. "My brother and I... Well, long story short, we were in the wrong place at the wrong time and an Andalite gave us the morphing power. But he's dead now, so... just us two. And you, now."

"Your love will be the death of me."
"No one can hurt you now."
"I adore the despair in your eyes."
"Oh my God, you're so empty."
"Let me fall into your arms."
"I'm in love with you and it's crushing my heart."
"I never wanted to lose you."
"I am scared to death to fall in love with you."
"I'm all yours for now."
"No one will love you the way I do."
"I love every single tear you cry."
"Please stay and I'll learn to love you right."
"I'm tired of the games I'm playing with you."
"Love me like you love the sun."
"All my dreams are of you."
"I should've known all along."
"Please believe me."
"All I ever wanted was you, my love."
"I heard you weeping."
"Darling, take me home."
"I just want you to know I'll always be waiting."
"I'm longing for your touch."
"I'm crawling out of patience, baby."
"No one can save you now."
"This life ain't worth living."
"Don't you stop now."
āāāā ā¾ Alas he did not have any other morphs, just a crow and well human. Regulus shakes his head. " I do not, but I do not know where to get more. The crow landed here in my sleeping spot, and that was easy." He said. Regulus wondered how long Daphne had her morphing powers. How many morphs she had?
He did not want to know. Humans looked scary when angry! Let alone when morphed. Regulus shakes his head. " Are we going to choose to fight the humans in the radio station? Why not use something small but scary.." He suggested. He walked over to his random basket of stuff. His favorite book the Almanac had pictures of animals. He turned to the picture of snakes.
"It's not easy," Daphne acknowledges. She doesn't have much of a morphing catalog herself; just a few birds, a grizzly, a wolf, and the family cat. What she wouldn't give for a shark morph... "Wild animals are hard to track down and catch, and the zoo is very uncool about people sneaking in to touch the animals in their care." Okay, yes, technically she's banned for life, but they can't stop her from flying past the front gate.
"Oh, no. We don't fight humans if we can help it," she says. "I mean, we're supposed to be saving mankind or whatever." Sure, she already has blood on her handsāthis is warābut she doesn't want to fight her fellow humans. Kind of hard to avoid when the enemy's using human bodies as shields and weapons. "I was thinking we'd just mess up the building, put the broadcast on pause for a while. But I guess it couldn't hurt to check out what's going on there first."
She peers around him to check out the image on the page he opens the book to. "I don't have a snake morph yet, but I wouldn't mind getting one. Not exactly fast if we need to make a quick getaway, though." Look at her, keeping their escape route in mind. Her brother would be impressed. "You want small but scary? I hate to say it, but we might need to pick up some venomous spider morphs."
āāāā ā¾ Getting rid of them. That is the problem. Regulus bites the inside of his cheek. What else is there to do? Regulus had markings on the map. Over the last several days of being here on Earth, he learnt that the Yeerks are very secretive and smart on how they do these things. ā Yes I know how the Yeerks happened and or in my planet we call them a different name. Gastropadas.ā
The problem is getting the main boss. Regulus got up and he heads to where he kept his favorite earth device. A radio. The prince wondered and he hoped there were others who knew about this. Though he might be wrong. He was flipping through the radio stations. ā The problem is getting to the main boss. That.. monster.ā He says.
He hated to say the name. He didnāt want to. ā You see the radio has advertised the Sharing before.. I am sure one of the radio hosts is an actual host.ā
Their leader, the Visser. Daphne's seen him before, of course, but never fought him directly; he has too many disposable soldiers for them to get close. She could take down one Andalite in a fair fightāor she thinks she could, anywayābut he keeps himself surrounded by some combination of Hork-Bajir, Taxxon, and human Controllers at all times, and that makes her like her odds a little less. "The Visser, yeah," she says. "The Vissers. The one in the Andalite body might be the guy in charge, but he's not the only one. Take him out, who's to say the next guy won't be an even bigger problem? Like an extra shitty hydra."
Is she supposed to be watching her language around alien royalty? She doesn't know. "Sorry," she says, in case he's offended.
It's kind of funny, seeing Regulus with such old-school tech, considering how much more advanced his species is. Daphne hasn't listened to the radio in... well, in a long time, so even though it's not exactly a surprise to her that the host is a Controller, it's news to her that they're advertising The Sharing. "I know of one way to handle that," she tells him. "You have any good morphs for wrecking a radio station?" she asks, grinning at the thought of putting her grizzly morph to good use. Atlas prefers a more subtle approach, so she rarely gets to do any real destruction of property.
Ava has only truly loved one person: a human woman around her age, someone as beautiful as she is complicated. She still checks her social media accounts occasionally often more than she should, but doesn't dare get close to her again. Not after what she cost her the last time.
Vin doesn't really suspect him, but the fact that he's one of only two people with a motive and without an alibi in his current case means he can't ignore the possibility that he committed the crime. It would be really awkward if he had, considering that at some point Vin kinda stopped investigating him and kinda started just hanging out with him and catching feelings.

"This is the same logic that got us into trouble the first time."
"So touch me or don't, just let me know where you've been."
"At least pretend you didn't want to get caught."
"If you let me have my way, I swear I'll tear you apart."
"I love you so much. But do me a favor, baby, don't reply."
"I still taste you and thus reserve my right to hate you."
"If it makes you less sad, I will die by your hand."
"I think something dark's living down in my heart."
"You think that no one else is lonesome, you think that you're the only one?"
"You are the smell before rain, you are the blood in my veins."
"I hope the next boy that you kiss has something terribly contagious on his lips."
"This is the first and last time."
"I can't let you let me down again."
"I need you like water in my lungs."
"Do you feel condemned just for being there?"
"I know how you'll die."
"Don't cut me up then tell me that it's okay."
"I am a mess, I'm in love with you."
"I wish that I could tell you right now, I love you."
"Everyone's caught on to everything you do."
"It's so hard to have someone to love."
"I've heard the outer darkness is really nice this time of year."
"I wanna burn down everything we've begun."
"Did you ever think that you would be this blessed?"
Vin knocks on the open door before entering the room, reaching for his badge to identify himself. "Detective Columbo. I'm so sorry to disturb you. I know you're a very important person, I'm sure you're busy." Flattery might not get you everywhere, but in his experience murder suspects are less likely to kick out a homicide detective if he butters them up. "I know you spoke to Officer..." He knows it was Harding, but he checks his notepad, flipping a few rumpled pages before waving it off. "Well, anyway, I was hoping to speak to you directly, go over your story about your partner's disappearance."

"Thank you. That's the nicest thing anybody's ever said to me."
Okay, so, it's news to Bambi that a Follower is capable of piggybacking on her time travel. She's well aware that she can take someone with her, it just never occurred to her that anyone other than herself could successfully navigate the passage which the other girls tell her is suffocating, dizzying, nauseating, even in small hops of just a few hours.
So when she pops back out a week before the attack and finds herself still being haunted by a shadow, she panics. She creates another tunnel to fall through and, hoping to lose the intruder, watches the hands on her wristwatch spin around counterclockwise until she can't tolerate the growing headache from the exertion for one more second. She stumbles out of the tunnel into some other time, further in the past than she's ever traveled before. Between the darkness of the night and her eyesight rapidly narrowing, she can't really make out her surroundings, but she can see that she's not alone, wherever she is. Whenever she is.
"Help me, please," she begs breathlessly, approaching the stranger. She grabs their arm, clinging to them with what little strength she has left as the shadows take over her vision and her knees buckle. Another desperate help is all she manages to get out before she loses consciousness.
Regulus nods. His hooves were shiny too. His golden fur was very much bright underneath the sun. He nods. < I do, I got it from a human who was freaking out when he saw me, so I acquired his form, and well..> He decided to do it. Taking a deep breath he morphs to his human shape.
He fell forward because of his front legs going away. When he was done, he was a handsome human male, tan skin, and dark eyes. He blinked as his stalk eyes were gone too. He smiled. He liked being in his human morph, and he liked it so much. " See, I am human just like you." He understood the mouth sounds and the words he understood. Regulus sits on the chair and he sighs.
The Sharing. The Yeerks, or in his planet they are called Gastropadas. He clenched his fists. These Yeerks are smart but not that smart. He got up and he got a map. There were markings he wrote. " You mean that Cult? Yes I do. I marked where all their pools are."
Daphne watches him take his human form, somewhat fascinated by the way the random human he encountered suits the title of prince. She could easily picture him as the leader of some small monarchist nation on Earth. āYou look like a human,ā she corrects flatly, even though itās probably an unkind thing to say. She doesnāt know how long heās been here, but he doesnāt seem to be in a hurry to leaveāon the contrary, he seems happy about his human morph. Maybe he wants to be human.
But looking like a human doesnāt mean he is a human, just as her having a bear morph doesnāt make her a bear. āTrust me, you donāt want to be human. We arenāt all weāre cracked up to be. Havenāt found the cure for cancer, canāt quit polluting the environmentāIāll spare you the rest of the list.ā His ship clearly isnāt getting off the ground any time soon, but there is another planet, another people to whom he belongs, and sheās sure heāll return to that alien planet someday. He doesnāt belong here, heās not human.
āI donāt think itās fair to call them a cult,ā she says, loosely crossing her arms. āSure, thereās some psychos who are willing hosts, but most are there against their will. A little thing about humans, weāre big on free will.ā She peeks at the map and spots a few pool entrances she wasnāt aware of. āWeāre kind of out of our depth here, but you have a history with the Yeerks, right? Do you know how we could get rid of them? Can we get rid of them?ā

Regulus kept silent. He headed to the forest and he lands to where his wreckage was. He morphs out of that crow body and well into his regular Andalite self. He had golden fur, strong hooves and like most of his cousin species. Yes Golden Fur, a rare shade but his species were similar, to the Andalites.
The Cervid turned to face the human female. He had no mouth and those bright green alien eyes stare. Such immense stare. < They do not come here, I have made it a way for myself and this camp to look like a complete illusion.> Regulus was good with technology. His four hooves walked towards to where his ship wreckage was.
He converted it to The golden furred alien made a small sigh. < I am the only one here, unless there are others like me who crashed.> He has yet to find them. Regulus' expression turned into a sad one.
Daphne climbs higher, giving Regulus the opportunity to overtake her and lead the way to the forest. Itās not easyāflyingās only easy when you hit thermals, and thatās just not how crows flyābut she feels more comfortable with the other where she can see him. Particularly considering he doesnāt seem to be interested in responding to her speculation. She lands amidst grass and twigs and rocks, which feel about as welcoming to her emerging human feet as the gritty, grimey pavement in the alley where she last demorphed. Someday, sheās going to figure out the shoe situation.
She meets his intense gaze, resisting the urge to complain about the choice of location so she doesnāt come off as weakāsheās not tall or strong enough to be physically intimidating, not in the way the not-quite-an-Andalite naturally is. āOh, obviously,ā she responds, realizing that he probably finds humans about as advanced as humans find chimpanzees.
āSo, what? Youāve just been hanging out here alone for however long itās been? Do you know anything about whatās going on? The Yeerks, The Sharing?ā She feels like sheās interrogating him, but she canāt help itāshe has so many questions for the alien prince. āYou said something about having a human morph?ā
