⠀⠀⠀⠀  ⠀⠀⠀⠀  ELENA TILTED her head as she watched the other, her familiar accent making her heart ache slightly. it had been quite a long time since she’d actually spoken to someone that carried the bulgarian accent the way nadia and herself did. ❛ nobody deserves such a terrible mother. i’m sorry, nadia. that would be me, yes. elena petrova or saltzman as i prefer these days. ❜ elena was constantly hungry since she’d arrived in this place, her veins burning with the desire to feed until her prey was entirely drained of blood. ❛ now you have. i’ve met quite a few members of our family and i haven’t really gotten along with most of them. ❜

I’ll be... sure to make her suffer if our paths ever end up crossing.  But.. for what it’s worth, It’s nice to meet you. “ She offered the other a hand, satisfied that she had learned that the other did hate Katherine, exactly like Nadia thought she would.  “ If you want to hunt here, do it at night. Mostly no one’s paying attention by then.          Jace raised an eyebrow, realize instantly that there was something off with Clary. Something was very, very wrong and he had to figure out what.  “ I’ve missed you.. too. “ He kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her waist. “ Clary, are you sure everything is alright? You seem... very different. And I know you, probably better than anyone so I can tell when something is off. “ He placed a hand on her cheek.  “ Talk to me. What’s wrong? “

                               “ You are very sweet, beautiful and completely perfect. “ She leaned down a bit to give Alice a small kiss, before settling down on the bench next to her.  Spending time with Alice seemed to be the only way that Robin could forget about everything - especially the fact that she might never see her mother again.  

   “ Are you ready for our first date in this island, Miss Jones? Because.. I come bearing gifts. “ She offered the other a small bag, smiling widely, while waiting to see her reaction.

henry released a sigh he hadn’t known he was holding back. of course. when he’d been cursed - and he remembered the curse, remembered every waking moment of talking to his daughter like she was insane, every moment his mother tried to help him and he brushed it off like she was some overbearing stranger - he’d taken a shine to ivy. ivy, who had been drizella. she’d cast the curse; he doubted very much she’d truly allowed herself to succumb to it as well, and he was torn. he couldn’t help but feel all those months of acting were more real than talking to her here and now, and it pained him to see it.

but if that’s all she was willing to give him… what could he do?

“and podcaster, investigative writer, babysitter…” he continued the list, doing his best to crack a smile. “i. i don’t know if it’s good to see you or not, but i’m glad you’re not- good to see you’reyou,” he finished, unsure if it really got across what he meant to portray. he raised an eyebrow. “so this isn’t your round two?”

                       Drizella crossed her arms over her chest, avoiding eye contact with the other at any cost. Truth to be told, she wasn’t ready to face him again. After ending up on the island, she thought she’d never see anyone from home ever again. And yet, here he was, that adorable smile all over his face - like he has just been drinking with Ivy and not Drizella, the woman who cast the curse and separated him from his wife and daughter.  Henry truly couldn’t hate anyone, she realized. He was that good. 

    “ And my drinking buddy.. “ She added, not being able to stop herself from smiling a little bit. Henry had been there, he had listened to her side of the story... when no one else did. “ Well, Ivy’s. “ She corrected herself quickly, shaking her head. Henry wouldn’t want anything to do with her.. now that he knew. “ I’ve always been me.  Everything that happened... it was real. Not a part of the curse. “ She said, raising her eyes to meet his, knowing fully well he’d know what she meant. Being Henry’s friend.. it was real. Not something she’d done to stick it up to Jacinda. Not something she did to keep them apart. It was real.  

  “ No, “ Drizella shook her head. “ People... people change, Henry. I suppose you’ve realized by now that my mother’s death wasn’t just “ a tragic accident “. “ She turned away from Henry. “  Gothel wanted to use magic to bring back Lucy and.. it was meant to be me. But my mother stepped in and took my place. She... she saved my life. She loved me. Casting the curse... it was useless. “

      “sassy, i like it.” the way this mystery woman behaved, more specifically the fiery nature behind her words and actions, reminded katherine a little of herself. “without a name, i’m going to have to resort to calling you my number one fan,” the brunette chuckled, finding humour in the fact that this girl was even attempting to outwit her, “for someone that claims to not like me so much, we seem to have a lot in common.” katherine loved playing the game, though, admittedly, she was growing quite bored. “don’t embarrass yourself, honey, for me to struggle would mean i would have to care, which is a feeling i am incapable of.” she spat her words, impatience clearly growing. “i’m going to give you one more chance. you seem to have studied me long enough to know that i’m a vampire of many years that doesn’t like to be kept waiting.”

          “ Good thing I couldn’t care less whether you like me or not. We won’t be around each other for much longer, anyway. “  Nadia crossed her arms over her chest, taking a step closer to the woman. “ Why are you so interested in my name, anyway? Are you scared I work for Klaus and have finally caught up to you... Katerina? “ Nadia smirked to herself, aware of how much of her accent was showing now but... she didn’t care. She wanted to watch Katherine trying to figure it out, to ask herself the question... could it be? 

       “ Oh, trust me, I know you don’t care. I’ve heard many, many tales about Katerina Petrova over the years and they all come to the same conclusion: she’s a selfish, heartless bitch, who doesn’t care about anyone but herself... After all, what else could you expect from the woman who abandoned her own child? “ Eyes fixed on Katherine, waiting for her reaction. She didn’t want to miss a thing. “ Well, from a vampire of many years to another, you should know you can’t always be on control of the situation. You win some, you lose some. That’s the way of life. “

     Jace had been walking home, two black coffees in hand - ready to spend the entire day with Clary, maybe training because... they needed it. She was too conflicted with Sebastian’s return and he needed to be there for her, no matter what.  He almost near their apartment, when he noticed Clary, standing in the middle of a dark alley, not very far away from their home.

     the unexpected comment had katherine stop in her tracks, an unfamiliar face with an extremely familiar accent standing before her. “i’d like to give you the chance to get to know me before you make such an assumption - or, i could just kill you right here, right now,” a teasing smirk played on her lips, as she observed the person before her, searching her mind for any memories of the woman. her mystery guest seemed to know her quite well, but katherine’s search came up empty. “i haven’t decided yet.” katherine dropped the playful act as she sauntered around the other, taking in her appearance. long, brunette locks, excellent jawline, piercing eyes - she reminded her of herself, actually. curious, she asked, “who are you, and what do you want from me?”

      “ Oh, I have no interest in getting to know you, trust me. I know all I need to know about the myth that is Katherine Pierce. Can’t say I’m impressed. “  Nadia crossed her arms over her chest, raising an eyebrow at the other. “ You could try. I’d probably give you a run for your money, though. “   She really did have no idea about who she was? Wow.  Nadia took a step closer to the other, observing the look on her face. 

             “ You really have no idea, do you? “  She asked, as she circled around the other, trying to decide what to do next. “ Poor, poor, Katherine.  It must be hard not being in control for once. “ Part of her hoped that Katherine would know who she was, because that would make it a lot easier. What was her plan, anyway? Come here, tell her who she was and... then what? That part was still a blank in Nadia’s mind. “ I think I’m gonna leave you hanging for a bit longer. “ She giggled, playing with a lock of dark hair. “ It’s fun.. watching you struggle like that. “

Well, Elena, it’s nice to meet you. “ Nadia raised an eyebrow at the other - being so clumsy was a big mistake. You never know who’s watching, obviously.                 “ Indeed we are. “ She nodded, a strategic smile spreading through her lips. She wanted information on Katherine... and what better ally to have than her doppelganger?  “ I can’t say I’ve met any members of my... extended family before. “

WHAT HAS, changed about you?

        Nothing. ( So, Nadia forgot everything that happened to her on the show - meeting Katherine, dying after the bite from Tyler Lockwood, etc. She’s been looking for her mother for centuries but also resents Katherine a lot, because Nadia believes that it was Katherine’s choice to give her up. )

HAVE YOU, got a job in this town?

      No, I haven’t.

   Perhaps, once I’ve explored this town a little bit.
