The man could count himself fortunate as he still retained some sort of functioning mental capacity, but Katsumi doubted that he would work as a shinobi again. More than likely he would be stuck with the mental skills of a child. She motioned for the other shinobi to take him and tend to his injuries, further work with T&I is still in his future, child-like or not. “I was able to get a location and it looks like you may get to kill after all.” The tokujo mentioned to her partner as she took a slip of paper and wrote something down on it.

Which would probably be protecting the Yamanaka and killing whomever she ordered him to. Hibiki found it hard to be near her, she made him extremely uneasy. He was almost fearful, like she might suddenly attack when his guard was done and make him go through the torture he was put through when he was younger. Despite this unease he would do his job, the mission came first.)

Though he quickly snapped out of it, slowly moving forward to retrieve his mask from the ground where it had been dropped. It was a bit dirty but other than that good as new. But that wasn’t the main concern on his mind right now. He slowly turned to gaze over the blond. His expression was almost one of fear. 

He, this person, Naruto, had gone out of his way to help Hibiki, going so far as to hurt himself. The boy simply could not wrap his head around that concept. No one had ever shown such a kindness to him in his life, and he hadn’t expected them too. That was just his life, how people treated him, he’d considered it normal. What was abnormal was this situation.)
