Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang 2025 Reveals

The TRSB25 Mod Team is proud to announce that this year's Reveals will happen tomorrow, on Saturday, September 6th, at 20:00 CET (what time is that for me?). When the clock strikes the full hour, our AO3 Collection is going to GO LIVE! This year, it will be full of great stories and poems as well as art pieces in a wide range of mediums (digital art, traditional art, oil on canvas, origami, lego, various crafts... you name it!). Here is my first contribution as an artist for Tolkien RSB 2025! Maeglin forging weapons for the Uruks in Angband (yes, one of the Uruks is Adar, who I headcanon as Maeglin’s new father figure )

Looking forward to my author reindeer_pizza (AO3) ‘s accompanying fic on the 6th September, when the @tolkienrsb collection will open and fics will be revealed (stay tuned for the link to the fic in the coming days!)

If that was the case, I remember a particular one I loved about Adar with a red moon (haven't been able to find it in your social media but I'm sure it was yours!) second, if you mean this piece from last summer, then probably not just because it was a very quick unfinished sketch and 100% inspired by a hermann wislicenus painting. you’re welcome to print it for yourself or do whatever you want with it though :)

It is now 2025, and we think it's time for something fun to do while we wait, and it is "Prompts."

Now, you may wonder what these prompts are for and the answer to this is simply EVERYTHING.

These prompts are simply to help you create whatever your heart desires, whether that would be paintings/drawings, writing, edits, gifs collages, it is up to you.

Now, the main idea is that people will send specific requests such as Prompt + Character + Colour theme, and specific colours can be suggested. But at the end of the day, you can do this prompt list in whatever way you feel most comfortable doing. And if that means using the prompts without having people send suggestions that is completely fine. The main point is to have fun. <3

First time I worked on A3 size, and it was stressful af. I could have gone more into detail and polished especially the gauntlet, but I’m still very happy with it. Eventually got a print signed by Sam H. 🫶

I'm planning a larger painting of this scene but figured I'd do this smaller study first as a trial run.

I haven't introduced myself on here yet, I'm new to Tumblr and still figuring it out. I fell off painting for a few years but for some reason The Rings of Power has inspired me to start again. Watercolour is my preferred medium but I also like drawing.

I can't wait to start the bigger version!
