I found this sign 2 years ago in paris after entering the hôtel de ville metro station. normally these symbols just show a regular human but this particular one portrays a fox because the station runs parallel to the rue du renard (’street of the fox’). I also saw one in this style with a bird-person (a pigeon?) but I don’t know where, didn’t take a picture and also don’t know why that one exists
I like Ashveil
Well, at least she died doing what she loved—getting her dick sucked.

horror movie showing a child’s drawing of the monster or ghost or whatever but instead of a little kid and crayons they’re like a preteen and it’s manga style
I laughed to hard at this fucking thing.

Today is my 1 year anniversary of drawing everyday. I did it. I drew basically every single day for 365 days. I missed maybe a week total. I built up from maybe 20mins a day to averagely 2 hrs a day.
I started with drawing on the right side of the Brain by Betty edwards and drawabox. I was done with the textbook in the summer, and am on lesson 4 out of 7 of drawabox. I also have taken a few mini courses, and read through fun with Pencil by Andrew Loomis. Im current enrolled in community college and plan on getting an associates degree in arts. That starts in July.
When I first started, one of the exercises is draw a self portrait and at the end of the textbook do another. Well since its my 1 year I think ill celebrate with a new self portrait each year.
Its been really fucking hard. I have so long to go and even longer before I can pickup a tattoo machine. I bounced off art ~3x but I actually pushed through the initial consistency hurdle. Yeah I still think my stuff isnt near what I want but I dont think it ever will be because as I get better the goal post changes. Realizing that I just tend to enjoy the process and if the result is good or bad it doesn't matter. (But being a good result helps)
I think some of the loneliness of autism is that you feel like you hurt people just by Interacting Wrong, but you don’t know how to Interact Right, and the more effort you put into it, the more exhausted you are and the more artificial it comes across (with the end result of people still being upset with you). and it’s not anyone’s fault for not liking Being Interacted With Wrong, and it’s not your fault for doing it so wrong, but it is very, very lonely.
I love this post so much I have done everything in my power to make sure I will never forget it via reblogging it every October 5th, in memory of discovering it for the first time
I can't see this without thinking of Dogs in Elk, a story that's been viral since 1999
