Debut parties are everywhere this year, since 1997 girls’ transition into adulthood has come. It’s one of their memorable nights; thus, we can’t be wearing something that’s effortless. With Jobelle’s Debut Party (see the event blogpost here), I wore something beyond my usual.
What I’m wearing: Feather Printed Button Down from Baleno, Colored jogger pants from F&H, Shoes from Sperry Top-sider
I am unsure and not that confident wearing this colored jogger pants since it is not one of the basic pieces; and thankfully, It did not look jeje, unlike the teamjejemons on their colored pants. HAHAHA, joke!
I also had my haircut -- showing pictures of David Guison’s new haircut as reference, and the stylist cut my hair too much and it isn’t how I envisioned it. It has been done, and I can’t bring back time, so the show must go on. lol! (Sabi naman ni Catherine, ayos lang naman daw, kahit tumatawa siya habang sinabi yun. lol!!! Syempre, I trust her judgments more than mine so, yeah!! tama na ang paglalamay sa pinangbayad kay Ms. Osang. BWAHAHA!)
Mastering the art of David’s “candid” walking pose
Printed button down from Baleno
Maroon colored jogger pants from Folded and Hung
Am I doing it right? lol!
Piece of advice: Don’t be afraid to take risks and do things out of your comfort zone or beyond the usual. Nevermind those tacky judgmentals because the output will always depend on how confident you are.
The season of the 1997 girls’ transition from being a teenager into a woman has come. My friends’ 18th birthday parties were their memorable nights, and unfortunately, Jobelle’s party is the only one I got to blog. (Forgive me for my laziness. lol!) Anyway, just visit my Instagram, OOTD posts were never missed there. (Promote promote din. lol!)
The venue is at their residence at Bauan, Batangas, and the party is supposed to start at 5pm. Catherine and I decided to meet before heading to the venue because we planned to have our haircuts to surprise the gang and to have our hairs fixed by the salon masters. (idk how they’re called? lol!)
Things didn’t happen the way it is supposed to be, because of spontaneous change of plans resulting to delays. When errands are finally done, we left Batangas City at 5:10pm, worried of how late we are.
When we arrived, we were thankful the event was also delayed due to some circumstances. We got ourselves fixed and extra OOTDs and group photos were shot! It’s a blogger duty, lol! See my outfit post here.
Let the photos speak of how euphoric we were that night:
THE SQUAD (Ethel, Ralph, Anne, Catherine, Mary Grace, Alyssa, Faye, Kyle, Me)
Kyle and I were tiptoeing to look tall and for faye to look smaller. lol! #desperate

WACKIER!! Hahahaha.
Another night worth remembering. Thank you guys! :)
Your arrival was earlier than we expected due to happenings we never wished to happen. First meeting was a bit awkward since we’re still shocked of the situation yet we’re sure we’ll be beside you and be your best friends to support and help you ease the pain.
As days pass by, we started to be comfortable again with each other reviving the bond and closeness we had back then.
and the slightly unprepared riego trip. (Though may namumuo pang bagyo, nagtiis sa hotdog, rice at mga chips, nag videoke, nagpicturan, at kung ano anong trip sa swimming pool.)
Our late summer and early school term revolved through those hangouts and I can say that each of them was worth it. Each of them was worth remembering. Each of them was euphoric and filled with happiness. Whenever we bid goodbyes, we’re already eager and anticipated, planning where we will be next. You restored the bond and closeness we had years ago that were fading due to different collegiate paths and shitload of school works we’re dealing with. As the saying goes, pag masaya ka, bumibilis ang oras. And now, August 3’s nearly approaching and you’ll be leaving for United States again. It feels like you just arrived yesterday and you’ll be leaving tomorrow. Your 70 days stay here in the Philippines is so fast we can’t believe it and we don’t want it to end.
It may be hard to bid farewell but it’s inevitable. Good bye bro! Sa isang taon ulit? Kailangan kong bumawi sa bowling. Hindi ako napayag. Magpapractice ako dito, be ready. Bat ga parang naiyak ka na? Wag iiyak! HAHAHHAA joke. Ingat kayo, goodluck sa straight 16 hours niyong flight. Sana tuloy tuloy pa rin ang group chat and mga snap exchanges kahit nasa US ka na. We’re just a message away whenever you need a friend!
Last Saturday, Blogger’s United 9 was held in Whitespace Manila, Chino Roces Ave. Ext, Makati City. To see my story, read my previous blogpost here.
I wore an anchor printed button down from Cotton On, and denim tailored shorts from TSS. I didn’t know BU′s theme this time was denim until I met Catherine at the bus stop, and was glad what I wore that day was in line with the theme. lol!!
Forgive me for the lame poses, this shoot was rushed because I’m not comfortable with the people looking at us! hahahaha, lol!
School days are approaching again and I feel like this summer break isn’t satisfying yet -- until Last Saturday, when the Bloggers United 9 was held. Catherine and I decided to attend this time’s BU to enjoy and have fun before we ‘devote’ ourselves into much school works this semester.
We were so excited that we took the wrong bus and our supposedly 2-hour trip ended up being 3. Thankfully, we still managed to arrive there at about 9:30, leaving us half an hour to prepare ourselves for the event.
It is held in Whitespace Manila, located at Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Makati City. It’s spacious enough to hold every blogger’s booth, yet it still became cramped due to the large crowd.
Two of the major sponsors were Smart, the leading network in the Philippines, and iFlix, a streaming medium for movies, shows, and the like. I am promoting them for they gave me freebies! lol!
Our plan was to spend wise and avoid buying much because we’re contented just by seeing the persons behind those good blogs we’re following. However, upon searching through the pre-loved garments, I found great ones from Paul Chuapoco and of course, David Guison. A knitted sweater and a black button down was enough for me and Catherine with some accessories and tops, so we just wandered around to take some pictures/selfies with the bloggers there.
PICTURES WITH THE BLOGGERS:
With Dani Barretto (Style is Eternal)
With Jacob Benedicto -- I didn't expect he'll be there, I used to watch him at the previous season of PBB, and I wasn't aware he's into blogging. Haha!
With AJ Dee (The Filo Dapper)
With Joseph Cham -- the one who gave us bountiful dinner at Kenny Rogers! lol!
With Mikyle Quizon (Style Division) -- He gave us free coffees though we weren't able to buy something at his booth, thank you and apologies, Mikyle! We don't have much cash on hand :( lol!!
With Paul Chuapoco (The PR Guy)
With Lissa Kahayon (Scenestealer)
Last but not the least, DAVID GUISON!! Pretty much the reason why I wanted to attend a BU event hahaha!

Thanks for signing my iflix BU9 bag! :)
SELFIE!!
After we took pictures from the bloggers, we decided to go home since it’s already past 5pm, and an MRT, LRT, and a BUS ride awaits us and we don’t want to get stuck in traffic.
Another remarkable day indeed. We went home feeling floppy and tired, yet we’re happy we saw and we had a chance to meet our blogging idols. Until the next BU event!
It’s summer again and everyone’s going crazy looking for great places to go. Not for me though. My typical summer routine is to wake up late, eat - surf the internet - eat again, browse YT videos, re-watch my movies on my hard drive, eat again, and then sleep late. Thankfully, a friend messaged me to come with them and visit their unit at Azure Urban Residences, Paranaque City. I got excited and immediately said yes, because I am longing for this getaway to celebrate the end of a school year.
What I’m wearing: plaid button down (Zara), black walking shorts (Penshoppe), blue and brown printed socks (Iconic), topsider (Sperry).
It’s somehow coincidental that my shirt blended with this furniture at the building’s rooftop, lol!
The gang (L-R): Me, Benedict, Diana, Alyssafaye (the unit owner!! lol.) and JJJ :)
It’s been a while since me and my high school best buds had a get together, and i blame school for this. Consecutive examinations, practical exams (require time for practices; ergo, taking all our precious weekends for a damned piece of folk dance. lol!), and a bunch of home works. Can I just do work at school and rest at home? Anyway, I’m still grateful for another hell week that passed and now we’re down to one month for this semester & school year to end! Just in time for a deserved hang out, my friend Kr that studies outside Batangas messaged me that she’ll be able to go out with us this Saturday for she and her mom will visit their house here once again. No words can tell how anticipated we were when we knew we’ll be meeting once again. Plans, calls and texts were sent to the gang but unfortunately, not all of them can be with us. That made us sad but still, we pushed through the plans.
The only ones who were able to come were Kurt and Jef, plus Kr and I, and Marsh, whose home has a nearby burger joint (which is partly owned by them lol) that we’re gonna visit and try what they has to offer.
Sadly, we never had a chance to take pictures eating those huge burgers they served but I swear, it was very good and satisfactory! :)
When we’re done, we went to their house for late night chats (plus the waley jokes).
(L-R: Kr, Kurt, Me, Marsh & Jef)
It was 8pm when Kurt had to leave because in spite of being a college student, he still have this curfew thing and he can’t be outside their house after 8:30-9pm.
We drove him at the jeepney stop and bid goodbye and then accompanied Kr to an ATM to withdraw money for her mom. Though it’s already late, we do not want to go home yet and thought of having some drink at a nearby coffee shop. We only had tall iced teas because our wallets don’t permit us to grab the more expensive drinks. lol!
As much as I wanted to post more pictures here at Bo’s Coffee, I can’t because some of them aren’t safe for public viewing. (have your wild guesses! lol!)
After that, we went back to Marsh’s house because 1. we still don’t want to go home 2. Kr needs something from Marsh 3. I can’t miss tonight’s episode of The Voice and 4. Jef needs his phone to be charged before going home.
Pictures from Marsh’s photobooth
We stayed there longer as expected until we realized it’s already 10pm! Since we’re already tired and our parents were already contacting us, we planned to go home and bid goodbye to each other.
This is indeed one of the best ways to end a month. Hanging out with the funniest and craziest buds, trying out things out of our comfort zones, and staying up all night laughing at each other’s waley jokes and putting aside the stress of school works. Until next time, guys! ;)
to the grammar police: i apologize if there will be some grammatical flaws, i am currently writing this post at 2:46 AM and I am somehow sleepy and dizzy. Feel free to correct me. Thanks!
I am promoting Kr’s cover of Lost Stars by Maroon 5 because I’ve been listening to this on repeat while writing this and I want to share it to you! :)
We seek for a place to go whenever holidays approach to celebrate and to enjoy the most anticipated days of the year. Since it’s Christmas time, being a festive occasion, we want to go to places where we would see bright lights, happy colors and crowded people to socialize and enjoy. Too bad if you’re claustrophobic, though. A perfect place that is embedded with these characteristics is the amusement park Enchanted Kingdom located at Sta. Rosa Laguna, Philippines.
Together with my high school classmates, we had pre-christmas celebration and the post-birthday celebration of one of my classmates.
What I'm wearing: black cap with floral details from Oxygen, half frame wayfarer sunglass from Dickies, black jacket with gray details from Oxygen, white button down from Penshoppe, white watch and brown bracelet from SM Accessories, little america backpack (mid-volume) from Herschel Supply Co., black sweatpants from Penshoppe, and shoes from Sperry Top Sider.
Of course, the David Guison pose! Haha!

The gang ;)
When we entered the park and started to fall in line for rides, it's really hard to take pictures because our things (including my camera) need to be kept to prepare for the rides.
Shoes from Sperry Top Sider
The next photos were after the breath-taking rides including Jungle Log Jam and Rio Grande Rapids that caused our clothes to be soaking wet. Thus, we needed to change clothes.
I wore a plain white polo shirt from Penshoppe because it's comfortable and we're preparing to go home already, thus, it doesn't have to be grand. lol!
Look at my shoes! Hahaha! Sobrang basa.
This day is indeed one for the books, I might say. We had a lot of fun and we got to try things we never knew we could.
The event (CONAHS night) i blogged about previously was cancelled and replaced by Christmas On CONAHS, which will be held between 8am and 5pm and requires all students to wear our department's organization shirt. I cringed when I knew this because I had bought a couple of outfits for that night. However, I've thought of an idea for my prepared outfits not to be put on waste. I layered our org shirt with a denim button down, plus my black sweatpants and a cap. Voila! I am in style without breaking rules!
I apologize for not having a picture because all of us were busy decorating the designated room for our party and preparing for the start of the event.
Anyway, this blog is not focused on that event but on an impromptu photo shoot with my best friend Catherine who's celebrating her birthday.
Before the party, I met them first at their department to greet and give my birthday gift because they'll be dismissed earlier than me so I made sure that before they leave, we'll have photos!
This is at school and as you can see, I do not wear my organizational shirt. It's because I knew that they are not strict about wearing them so I removed it! :)
Starting from left: Mary Grace, Faye, Me, Jobelle, and Catherine.
Seriously!? Is it really necessary for us to lean on the same direction? Hahaha!
While having preparations for the party (of our department), I received a text from her inviting me to Starbucks which I liked because it's the last day of school for Christmas break and that would be a nice way to release stress from school.
Catherine while drinking her frappe which is named Kryz (lol!)
Our food: Chocolate Chip Cream Frappuccino and Ham and Cheese Croissant for Kryz and Caramel Frappuccino (Cream based) and Chocolate Dipped Doughnut for David. (that's me!) The reason behind the names of those frappes is because we feel like we're the famous bloggers (kryz and david) that night. Haha!
After Starbucks, we walked around the vicinity of the mall and surprised about by view of the photogenic walls (it's blogpost-worthy!!) and that's when we thought of having a photo shoot! Since it's already 7pm that time, lighting was really bad but we still tried!
Here are the photos!
What I'm wearing: denim button down from Penshoppe, black sweatpants also from Penshoppe, printed socks from Iconic, cap with floral details from Oxygen, shoes from Sperry Top-Sider and brown bracelet and white watch from SM Accessories. (though not seen from this pic but I guess you'll see them on the next photos!)
Little America Backpack (Mid-Volume) from Herschel
That's the first spot we had our photos taken and since we're not satisfied, we walked and had more photos taken from a different spot.
I forgot to wear my cap here and my hair looks squeezed! Lol!
Doing the signature David Gusion post! (Hello Idol! HAHAHA!)
Because we still have things to do inside, we went back and thought of the well lighted part of the back stairs this mall has! Only a few people use that because it's really hassle to use stairs compared to elevators and escalators.
I think this pose is also from DG?! Hahaha!
better view of the printed socks from Iconic and shoes from Sperry
After taking pictures there, Catherine needed to buy something inside the SM Store and while she's busy looking for it, I tried some of the sunglasses that were displayed there!
Bagay ba? Haha!
While she's still in queue for the payment of her item, I asked her to take a picture of me while holding her balloons and my gigantic paperbag (i hate bringing paperbags, but I have no choice since I need to bring lot of things needed for the said party.)
I think this will be a good profile picture for my Facebook profile? Haha! Let's see!
After this, we decided to go home and it was hell of an experience! It made us say, "Never again! I will never go here again!" Traffic's jammed and we got no jeepney to ride. We have no choice but to use the alternative route which includes a boat ride and a lot of walking which is really risky and dangerous since it's already 9pm.
Anyway, after all those what happened to us, we had fun and really enjoyed this day. Again, Happy birthday Catherine! Thank you for everything!
