So Verena actually knew Brigitte, the first time around!  She was due to become Verena’s niece-in-law, when she married Piers, but she died sooooo hahaha  But anyway, I def think that whatever relationship they might have had in the past may impact Verena’s feelings towards Brigitte?  If you’ve gotten a chance to think about it, do you know what Brigitte was like in the Middle Ages?

So, Verena wants to destroy Blaise and his whole life.  Since he’s currently pursuing Sage, that may or may not include destroying hers.  If she knows, however, that Blaise doesn’t actually want to marry Sage, she might encourage the match smdh  Either way, though, I think she’d def be nice to Sage (at least at first) bc she does def want to get to know her hahah

Hmmm, so honestly I’m not sure how Verena’d feel about Anthony????  He’s here to read the will of her descendant who died away from Lyndhurst so that’s a lil sad but Verena doesn’t care nearly as much about that as she probs should hahaha so she’s just like ‘...oh yeah that’s a shame...anyway’ basically.  I think he might turn her head bc obv he’s hot but honestly it’s more an aesthetic thing bc the only one who ~truly has her attention is Godric (poor Godric honestly Tony dodged a real bullet)  But yeah beyond that, I’m not really having any ideas.  You?

So Verena recognizes that Gabriel is a v powerful witch and she def wants to instruct him in the art of witchcraft.  That being said, idk how he’d feel about her, given that as a Storm, he knows what she did?  That being said, though, she’d only use that of evidence that she ~clearly knows what she’s doing when it comes to witchcraft and she could show him so many things etc.

ANNIE <3  So, I feel like Verena may want to help instruct Anya as a witch and honestly I’m sorry in advance bc...Verena is...problematic hahaha  But anyway idk how response Anya would be/how she might feel about Verena?  The Storms def know what Verena did etc so, while she will probs be nice to Anya, since she wants something from her/sees potential in her, idk how Anya might feel about her?

Ok, so #nothingpersonal but Verena doesn’t just want to kill Blaise, she wasn to ruIN him #funaunt  Her intent is essentially to make an example of him and his mother so no one will ever try what she did ever again and she’s been stalled up till now but atp she’s out to destroy his life and kill him.  

Something Kate brought to my attention is that Blaise is interested in Giselle, and she wondered if Verena might know this, so I thought I’d pass this question along?  Hahaha  So how obvious/not obvious do you think he is about that?  If she does know, ofc, Verena will want to tear down Gigi as well #goodtimes

So yeah, anyway, I feel like she actually plays nice w Blaise so it’ll be easier to destroy him, when the time comes #facepalm  How do you think Blaise might feel about her?  I’m sure, however nice she might act, he knows what she did, etc, so there’s that too hahah

Ok, so while, on one hand, Verena is kind of obsessed w the Storms, on another level if they can’t advance her, she doesn’t??? care?????  And in her book, Roland is useless to her, so while coming and being all ‘im ur mother’ @his twin she was probs kinda like ‘who’re you again?’ @roland basically smdh  I also feel like Verena resents Celeste bc she was the lady of Lyndhurst and like there’re just so???? many????? positives in Verena’s relationships cleArLY  anyway, she’s obv been around his whole life, but I think she’s more likely to roll her eyes at him than play the dutiful aunt/whatever she is to him hahaha

If Verena had a desk, I like to think it’d have a mug on it reading WORLD’S WORST MOM *literally curses her daughters and their entire family before committing suicide*

Anyway!  Despite being the world’s worst mom, Verena actually does love her kids?????  She’s just soooo????? damn weird???? about it?????  Like, she kills herself and lays the curse and, the moment she comes back as a witch, she probs came and told them she’d always be there at LYndhurst and like tucked them in to bed????? and felt like she’d comforted them and that was the end of that #fail  I feel like her answer was to parenting, in general, was to push them really hard.  And, in a strange way, that was her vote of confidence in them, that they could and would go far, but pressuring your kid straight out of the gate?????? #goodmom-ing

Anyway, she def isn’t a super attentive parent or anything, but I do think in her weird way, she looks out for her daughter and does what she can to improve her prospects, which is what she wishes her mother had done, and thus what she considers good parenting is all about??????

Ok, so Verena feels cheated out of having been lady of Lyndhurst (she feels she ~should have been and was denied, yknow?) and so she kind of resents those who become lady of Lyndhurst.  Celeste is the Dowager Countess, now, but she still got what Verena wanted and so she resents her.  I don’t think it’s a deadly hatred, as is the case w many of Verena’s resentments, but I don’t think she thinks much of Celeste either.  How might Celeste react to Verena, do you think?

So Piers is Verena’s nephew.  I feel like she resents him a bit bc, in her opinion, he stood between Regina and her birthright (i.e.: being heiress to Lyndhurst).  I mean, she does know that wasn’t Piers’ fault and she def is much angrier at Roderick about it, but she is still annoyed by how it played out and wanted her daughter to inherit Lyndhurst instead of Piers, yknow?

Daughter!!!!  Honestly, though, Verena’s not a great mom...I mean, she literally cast a curse on Regina and her entire family so just...not a great mom hahaha  But that being said, she def does love and care about Regina!  I mean, she ~is her daughter and she’d be horrified and wounded if anyone tried to imply she didn’t love Regina bc she does...in her own weird way.  Honestly, Lauren, I feel so bad for Regina (and everyone who’s ever had to deal w Verena honestly!)

I do feel like, after Verena killed herself and cast the curse, and returned as a ghost, she instantly went and found her daughters and told them that they could always find her at Lyndhurst etc and tucked them into bed and stayed w them, but I also feel like she was really hard on them and thought she was doing them a favor?????  Bc she’d come so far and, with the advantage of the Storm name, they could go even further (and Regina did).  I think Verena thinks that she did them a favor???  Idk, Lauren, it’s so weird.  She ~was trying to help, but I feel like she put undue pressure on them????  Like, I feel like Verena pushes his kids while simultaneously emotionally neglecting them, wo even realizing it, and considers herself a good mother for having done what she did????

Anyway, idk what Regina’s thoughts are, but there’s that hahah

First, sorry this reply looks wonky but I’m on mobile and just have thoughts and won’t be back to my laptop until later tomorrow!

I was thinking that perhaps, medieval times style, Gigi’s family or a family she had married into or whatever visited Lyndhurst? Like maybe minor nobility from nearby or whatever, but perhaps in that time she and Verena would have met? She doesn’t seem like the most pleasant of people so it’s unlikely Gigi would have been especially fond of her? I don’t know… Not 100% sure on her past lives yet… Though any rumor or speculation about Verena I could 100% see PastGigi believing… So I don’t know if the fact that she wasn’t necessarily her friend might affect Verena’s opinion of her? Or maybe she hardly even remember her now? Haha. My other thought is in regards to Blaise… Lizzy and I haven’t talked about Gigi and Blaise’s relationship but I saw she’s his “interest,” even though he’s after Sage, so I don’t know if Verena would pick up on that and that would influence her opinion of G at all?

That all makes total sense!  Esp since Verena isn’t a big fan of Drea, anyway, so they have lots of reasons to ~not get on~ hahaha  You’re 100% right!  Verena def isn’t a pleasant person!!!  And I’m sure there were lots of bad things being said of her bc of that and bc of the fact that she was lowerclass and married above her station and I can absolutely see where that would’ve been ~frowned upon back in the day hahaha and there probs ~were rumors that she was a witch as a result (which in this case were actually true hahaha)  If Giselle disliked Verena, and that sort of thing, the feeling was probably mutual.  I feel like Verena deals w negative emotions...poorly (Exhibit A: casting that curse ;D)

But anyway esp if Giselle was minor nobility, I can def see where the Storms might’ve wanted her to marry one their sons, since they were social climbing in that epoch!  That might’ve cast yet another strange shade on their relationship, too, if Giselle was ~wanted by the family and Verena def wasn’t hahaha

Oh, yes!  I’ll chat w Lizzy about this, but if Verena knows of Blaise’s interest in Gigi, that could def be a factor in their relationship bc Verena wants to destroy Blaise.  She doesn’t just want to kill him to restore balance to Lyndhurst, she wants to make an example of both him and his mother so no one will ever again attempt what Adelina did.  As a result, destroying his loved ones would be the place she would probably start so honestly I’m sorry in advance!!!!  But yeah, first I’ll need to find out if she knows/might find out about that ;D
