On May 24th, 1985, Michael Jackson dropped in on filming of the Ewok movie, ‘Battle for Endor’. He was visiting ILM (Industrial Light and Magic), George Lucas’ Special Effects company who were doing post-production work on his 3D film Captain Eo for Disney’s theme parks. It was a very low-key visit. He simply wandered in - no entourage, no fanfare - just Michael Jackson. We chatted about Ewoks and I can’t recall if I actually ever removed my Ewok head during our meeting. Look at the photo - who meets ‘The King of Pop’ and stays hidden behind a furry mask for the photo of a lifetime! It was me in there… promise. I decided to post this item now as a mark of respect and admiration for a truly great singer, performer, entertainer and human being. Thank you Michael for providing the soundtrack to my childhood.
