this is absolutely my fav episode of neo galaderon right behind ep1. its abt starting off w such hugely goofy horny energy w aux in the leather daddy suit walking slug in a maid outfit like a dog and slug in love w a digital stripper named cherry ruby jubilee. its abt them trying all the carnival games that murph designed Once before deciding theyre rigged and going to just buy the upgrades instead despite murph being like thats no fun. its abt them making a genuine connection w the guy running the game and feeling compassion and wanting to give him a better life, its abt how theyre being so kind that they FORGET THAT THEYRE WANTED FOR 6 MILLION GREDITS AND LOUDLY DROP THEIR IDENTITIES, PASS THE FIRST LUCK CHECK TO NOT BE OVERHEARD, AND STILL LITERALLY IMMEDIATELY DO IT AGAIN AND ALMOST GET TPKED BY A CROWD OF GOTH CRASS JOKER KNOCKOFFS. its abt meeting eddie and its not that he just took the easy payout to play video games all day, its that hes sunken into such grief and regret for his friends that he loved so much and lost that he cant take care of himself anymore, he cant face reality, he just needs to escape from this world and hide away in something false and less painful. its abt how the kill screens make him home-cooked food and hold his hand to wake him back up into real life. its abt how the kill screens were stagnating in grief in that exact same way that eddie was, so they understand more than anyone why eddie was so stuck, but theyre starting to be able to move forward w their lives, still keeping the past memories and joy alive like w the card game they play like the old days, but also living in the present and making choices for the future. its abt how all of this can be summed up by atom telling eddie so sincerely “you have to flush the toilet”.
