Marta: I was so exhausted that I wasn’t being productive anymore. Will you help me? Fina: Of course. Marta: I've discovered that baking isn't my thing. Look at the mess I've made. Fina: I can see that, you've made quite a disaster. If your aunt Digna saw this… Marta: It’s been a while since… she doesn’t come by much anymore. Fina: What were you planning to make? Marta: Swiss rolls… of course. Would you like a bun? Fina: When don’t I ever want a bun, Marta? That dough needs more flour. And did you add a pinch of salt? Marta: I have no idea where my head is today… the last time, my aunt helped me. Fina: Come on, add a pinch of salt, and we’ll fix that dough… it’s not too shriveled yet.

Marta: You know how much I've missed you, and... and I’m sorry I haven’t found the time for us to meet yet. Fina: I’ve missed you a lot too, Marta. And it’s been really tough for me. Marta: Is that why you were so serious in the office? Fina: Exactly. I was planning to tell you that... that we can’t continue like this. Marta: And why didn’t you? Fina: Well, because I saw you so tired and overwhelmed that... that I understood you didn’t leave me aside on purpose. Marta: Never! You’re the most beautiful thing I have. The rest are just problems... the new position... Fina: Yes, Marta, but I didn’t want to be unfair to you. Or pressure you. Marta: Right now, there are so many things that need my full attention that I don’t know how to... Fina: But you know what? Love is also about yielding, and that’s what I want to do with you. Marta: But I don’t want you to be upset. Not you, no. I've had enough with the rest of the world. Fina: But I’m not upset. I’m fine. It really sucks these two can’t qualify for Emmys, because this whole scene deserves one. When it first starts, Marta is tense and rigid, but as soon as she realizes it’s Fina…the brick wall comes down and the flood gates open.

Fina’s hold is almost like a rescue buoy, combined with a gentle “Shhhhh”, it immediately grounds Marta. Marta becomes one with Fina, melting into Fina. She’s able to let go, and latch on to Fina’s touch. Once she knows she’s safe, Marta finally is able to calm down.

Through this whole scene, as sad as the reason is behind it, you can see Marta lighten because the love of her life is right behind her.

And Marta saying that something as simple as Fina’s smile was enough medicine to get her through the day?

This sequence is the definition of ✨MASTER CLASS✨ 👏🏻

Golden Swan (Zlatá Labuť) - The complete Irlena story (28/84)

Fangirling: I love how is Alena willing to let Irena go in order to protect her. That's love right there <3 Lukáš again giving no MVP points. Irena can't lose her kids so she is willing to do what he wants. But even if both of them are willing to give up their love, they just can't help themselves. When Alena is in danger, everything changes for Irena in a split of a second. She can act as a wife to Lukáš, but she will never feel like one. Do you love them already at least half as much as i do? :)))

Further plot: The ballistic results came back, claiming Irena's gun was the murder weapon. Irena tries to persuade Lukáš that Gruber probably manipulated the results to bring her down. Alena and her best friends (Bára and Eva) are trying to get Jakub to stop gambling.

You can see in her expression she didn't realize until it was too late.. ouch tho, poor Alena <3 Sometimes it's like Mrs. Gruber is even worse than her husband.. sometimes. Look at my babies <3 They are so in love I can't *cries in lesbian* The relief they both feel in that last scene.. my poor gay heart can't handle it <3

decided to put these in a bit of a chronological order as i can’t help but form a story behind the scenes. it’s a storyteller’s habit. and yeah i do have an idea i would genuinely like to explore with gail simone as a crossover comic. 

i don’t want to be the writer for this. but at the same time i always found diving into these things and exploring the character chemistry was the best way to get an artistic feeling for it.

this is also how i usually develop my own stories.

anyhow, while many think this is me drawing some shipping, in fact this a proof of concept for an adventure story  featuring lara and diana. Gail simone at some point asked if they would kiss and i gave it some genuine thought. i am a character first kind of a writer, myself, so i contemplated this. then i decided, yes, probably.

after all, romantic subplots have been the bread and butter of adventure writing since its inception and i always liked that aspect of adventure stories.

 i hope this puts some things in context from my end XD

and while there will probably be a few more of these, there will be no nsfw pics. after all, camera pans away from indiana jones in those moments as well  XD
