How much do you like severitus?

a reasonable amount… i think. honestly i prefer to stick close to canon snape and i don’t really like things that stray too far from his character (cough cough snape/marauders ships cough cough) or the general storyline, but severitus is my guilty pleasure. i’m pretty lenient with it lmao. i was actually really nervous about posting my severitus drawing since i felt it was too ooc and feared getting mocked for it #bye

the fanfics i read the most are severitus (which is telling since i rarely read or finish fanfics). last year i used to mostly read stories where snape picks harry up after his fourth year, but i recently read one set earlier and i can’t lie, i had a blast (which is what partly motivated the drawing, but above all, i just really wanted to draw snape crouching lmao)

but back to the subject, i don’t think i’ll be doing artfight this year because i’m dealing with some family issues, and i’d like to spend the time i have drawing snape instead. but just in case, my id is simply maajoramu

don’t look too closely at my old drawings though lol, i’m a little embarrassed by them. this year has been pretty productive for me and i feel like the way i draw has changed quite a bit because i kinda realized i have free will and can just make up the bullshit i want. i also find drawing things for other people a little more stressful (esp w artfight), so i tend to play it safer and end up making less bold choices or or going for things that are a bit more broadly accepted (for example, trying to render 🌬️ 🌬️ even though i suck at it and much prefer leaving my drawings at a stage some people might consider unfinished #rodin lol). i hope it makes sense
