“I love how cold and focused your eyes are.”
Everyone’s talking about Roy, and I love him in this scene too, but Lust. Here she is, defeated, about to dematerialize into nothing, and she’s still staring down Roy with an equal look–unmerciful, relentless, challenging. The coldness she sees in him? She knows it better than anyone. Her entire life’s mission has been to keep Father’s plan moving forward. She has no qualms about killing anyone for it, and does it with the same coldness and unwavering focus that Roy just used against her. What we’re seeing here is a mirror dynamic–what blood-lust (for whatever reason) looks like in a person powerful enough to act on it.
