infinity is such a fucked concept. i was thinking about the infinitely wide orangutang and if you were standing in a room at the center of it you would just see one line of atoms from the center of an orangutang which would, theoretically, repeat forever. but that brings to question whether or not it's still an orangutang ? because it needs the rest of its body to truly be an orangutang but this one section goes on to infinity. there both is and is not a full orangutang because you KNOW there's a full orangutang you can just never see more of the orangutang than this one slice, no matter how far you go
