Unpopular Opinion
I like Jenny! I think it’s messed up that everyone sympathized with Frankie and not Jenny just bc Frankies a white lesbian whose ppd was more overt.
Jenny really struggled and never found her footing and basically as we all know just doesn’t want to be and just isn’t cut out to be a mom.
I love that Workin Moms really does try to show every shade of mom. High driven career moms Kate and Anne, Looser lovey mom like Frankie, granola (i hate her style) Alicia, pill popping cochran moms, moms like whatever the hell Val is?, and even Jenny who loves her baby obviously but just isn’t into motherhood a la Ellis Grey from GA.
but the blatant lgbtqia phobia and other selfishness is really fucking annoying. I wish they didn’t make her so shitty in that regard.

fucking superb you funky little felon
This is gonna get me anon hate but lexa was not good lesbian rep
I will never forgive him for pitting motherly love and romantic love against each other only to say in the end just kidding you can’t have either. : )
your friendly reminder that jroth is a shitty showrunner and super petty jerk, true. but he’s also racist!
his treatment of poc on the show range from treating them as objects to further plot points or the “colored best friend” trope and its gross 🙂
Raven was treated similarly to Bonnie Bennett of tvd
if the judge did come to her as bellamy, her twin flame, it would’ve been an even bigger slap to the face.
we know he was important to her, we know he taught her a lot (like how to use a gun & when not to, how to forgive. lexa taught her life was living not surviving so bellamy reinforced that how to keep living was together), we know she failed him.
the judge wearing Bellamy’s corpse as a skin to Test clarke and using his face/voice to deem her unworthy of perpetual happiness with her family would’ve been the ultimate disrespect to bellarke.
The CW : our gay couples only get quick pecks and implications of sex, but our straight couples can make out and bite lips and get morning after scenes, with half-naked actors ; and as soon as our queer characters are happy, they get killed off or something traumatic happens to them.Â
Also the CW : our POCs are given much less screentime than their white counterparts, are treated like crap in general, and are often killed off. They are also sometimes white-washed or played by a non-POC.
Us : the CW is homophobic and racist.

To all Clexa shippers:
I don’t know how you’re feeling right now. I’ve seen some of you upset because, even though Lexa appeared, it was her body and not her mind. Others, are really happy about Alycia coming back on the show (as we should be, I mean, what a fucking icon.) Whatever category do you fit into, I wanted to ask you something: please, do not let JR win.
If you want to celebrate, perfect, if you want to cry and be mad, do so. But please, don’t forget what this man has done ever since the beginning of the series. From killing Lexa after introducing her for queer-baiting everyone and use her as a claim, using the LGBTQI+ community for his own benefit; to killing Lincoln after having racist comments towards Ricky (or so says the fandom); to finally Killing Bellamy after destroying his development in the matter of a chapter and blaming Bob saying that it was his condition what killed Bellamy (consider we’re talking about depression here, and this men is not only shaming someone for his mental health but also is undeniably not telling the truth, since it was published months ago that Bob was actually able to work on the series, but with a more reductos schedule. And remember this was a medic prescription.)
I wasn’t able to leave the show because I was just so emotionally involved with the characters; they’ve become my fictional family, and I felt like I couldn’t leave them. But now, there’s another show coming up: the prequel of The 100, also meant to be directed by Jason Rothenberg. And honestly, seeing his unprofessional and unethical ways I wouldn’t want for anyone else to get involved with a story that doesn’t have closure and, more importantly: I wouldn’t want to see any actor getting racist comments like Ricky did, or seeing his 7 year job destroyed in the matter of an episode like Bob.
What I’m asking with this is for you to, however you feel about the finale, don’t enhance JR and his work so his new show doesn’t get picked up. He shouldn’t be allowed to hurt anyone else. Remember what’s behind and don’t let this men’s abusive and manipulative behavior harm more professionals and fans.
Our gonplei ste nou odon.
Okay, I’m ready. I’m ready for all the pineapples to thank the Bellarke fandom and apologize for being so vindictive because without Bellarke this literal shitshow wouldn’t have made it to season 7 & y’all wouldn’t have gotten closure.
Honey,,, this ain’t closure. The 100 sailed and shipwrecked for me YEARS ago. I’m having a GREAT time scrolling through tumblr seeing all you bellarkers moan and groan. Why would we thank you?? I’m literally not a fan. And Lmao,,, are you really trying to spin this in your favor? I didn’t dedicate seven years to a trashfire show only to have my ship be SHOT down. Lexa may have been shot years ago,,, but at least Clarke was the one who tried to save her and not the one who shot her!
Have fun with shitty memories of this show! Ik I had a few but they aren’t nEARLY as bad as what JRoth put y’all through,,, I mean SEVEN years,,, only to salt your wound w a Bellamy-less/Lexa-ful SERIES FINALE. Ouch
if it’s not closure for you, that’s totally fine. but for many clexas it has been, to see ADC back on the screen in costume. And yes a thank you would be nice because after all you abandoned the show when she was killed the bellarke fandom kept the show afloat. not to mention all the hateful vitriol y’all spewed at bellarkers for doing so but if we’d all dropped in in solidarity it would’ve ended soon after her death with zero Alien!Lexa. bc while we’re at it that wasn’t Lexa. and jroth put salt in your wound as well because if gabriel hadn’t bodied the flame she probably could’ve come back like emori did bc her consciousness would still be there.
look guys a pineapple! yes! and I did read the books they were nice, kass morgan is talented🤍
@portraitdelajeunefilleenfeu
because bellamy totally murdered. yknow who else did? Lexa, Clarke, Raven, Octavia, Abby, Kane, Indra, Jaha, Murphy, Echo, Pike, Finn, Jasper, you name a character they totally committed murder in spades (except Wells. he was and angel)
while you’re at it making your point about “skyrocketing views” you can fall on that double edged sword that you pineapples abandoned the show when Lexa was unceremoniously killed.
yknow who kept the show running for four more seasons after your precious kru left? bellarke. (octavia stans and raven stans too ngl)
and i don’t want to hear shit about the w/w representation because it’s inarguable that it was shitty and toxic representation that w/w did not deserve because w/w love isn’t inherently toxic and dramatic and abusive from the excuse that ~women are emotional and dramatic~. it was almost as bad as piper and alex from oitnb.
also on the vein of being supporting of lgbtqia+ representation a lot of you pineapples are BRAZENLY BIPHOBIC and occasionally as racist as jrot.
no one dumped on clexas except Jason and maybe twitter stans (i think? bc twitter stan culture is super toxic) especially not 5 years on because much like clarke and the whole cast we moved on from her death soon after, more preoccupied and all that.
i mean that said...
Aren’t you pineapples sad you didn’t get endgame either? you got some perverse contortion of closure but definitely not endgame. Bellarke was always prepared to not be canon because they’d always said no and skirted around the issue and their engaged in the books so it’s fine. The main issue is that he’s dead. Just as dead as Lexa.
clarke was 24. she only had two romantic loves her entire life because there are things in life more important than finding romantic love, like preserving life itself and then her daughter.
have none of you ever taken a break from dating before?? it doesn’t mean your previous significant other was your soul mate.
Okay, I’m ready. I’m ready for all the pineapples to thank the Bellarke fandom and apologize for being so vindictive because without Bellarke this literal shitshow wouldn’t have made it to season 7 & y’all wouldn’t have gotten closure.
what was alien lexa even supposed to represent? because by clarke’s own admission, her love for lexa was “nothing” compared to her love for madi, so madi would be clarke’s “greatest love”…greatest teacher maybe?? i guess so, given lexa was in her s2 get-up and the lesson she taught clarke then was “love is weakness” and couldn’t transcend because of her brutality in trying to save madi or whatever…was there another option? oh yeah, bait bait bait
remember when jroth said the show isn’t about romantic relationships and then proceeded to force a jordan and hope endgame in the span of four (4) episodes
The Judges say that the “person” that shows up is your greatest teacher, your greatest love, or your greatest failure. It was confirmed by JRoth that Lexa showed up because she was Clarke’s greatest love. Let’s not diminish the significance of that because of Bellamy’s death. Lexa is Clarke’s greatest love and that’s canon. Abby showed up because she was Raven’s greatest teacher.
I’m not trying to diminish anything - in fact I specifically said I had no issue with Bellamy not being the person to show up, and that Lexa was the perfect person to be there for Clarke and their chemistry is amazing.
I simply didn’t hear in the episode what the rules were besides it’s “someone that you love.” If that’s the canon explanation, that’s cool with me. I must have drifted off during that moment of explanation.
To me personally, Bellamy’s death and my anger about it has very little to do with romantic Bellarke. Which is actually shocking to me because I loved them so much and wanted that, but I care very little about that part of it all.
@anon she had two romantic loves in her ~24 year life. I don’t know if you’ve met many 24 year olds with their shit together but generally speaking they have a propensity towards being forever stuck on toxic relationships. So between finn and lexa obviously lexa was the greater love. still doesn’t say much.
bellamys death was sad but it has nothing to do with lexa showing up
