The Lucifenian Royal Family is visiting macchiarosabianca
They were on what their father kept referring to as a vacation or a holiday, even though it was plenty obvious to even the small boy that they were not going to be allowed to play very much during this so-called holiday.
During the long trip there, the children were lectured about being good around the Borgia family and all others because royalty had to act in such a way that allowed them to presented with a royal air about them. While the people they were meeting were not Lucifenian, they were still important and could be really good friends if need be.
Apparently this was going to be a face-to-face lesson about international politics.
After falling asleep during one of the lectures, the young prince woke up to shuffling as they arrived. He rubbed at his eyes and moved so he could see out of the carriage, curious about the place. He wondered if he and his sister would have to be watched by a maid or if they’d be allowed to run around and have fun while their parents talked about grown up royal stuff.
She’d been told very little about their visitors, if anything at all. To her understanding, it was the royal family of another country that was to be visiting her father; the latter of which who had been very vague about the origin and reason for the meeting, saying only to treat the family with the utmost respect.
Neither her father nor brother seemed very responsive to her questions, and she had since been left to merely wonder about the characteristics of their guests. They were royalty, it stood to assume they’d all be really quite lavish in their clothing and appearance - perhaps decked in beautiful jewels, expensive fabrics and other luxuries?
A call from one of the maids in the mansion brought her back from her curiosities, beckoning her to the foyer of their home in order to greet their new company. She’d had time to only straighten out her dress as she was hurried from her chambers, arriving just in time to see the doors open; her father, straightening his back, adopted a smile as the family came into view, calling out with a strong, solid voice.
“We welcome you to the Borgia Mansion.”
