SUNHO AND YUKJO ENDGAME - LOVE ALARM SEASON 2
Love Alarm Season 2 just released yesterday, but I have watched this scene more than 100 times today haha. This drama is somehow really my thing and I really like how the story of these two grow in my heart.
I did not watch Love Alarm Season 1. I just skimmed it because I am not really into Kim-So-hyun (KSH, played as Jojo) so I rarely watched her drama, and at that time Song Kang (played as Sunho) was not yet this cute, cool, and handsome yall! :p I just knew that Love Alarm Season 1 was about a typical triangle love in which Jojo is always the girl in the middle doing nothing but is up for grabs by two handsome boys. And I know that the ending was open so she will choose whom she wanted to be in Season 2.
When starting watching this drama, I particularly did not really hope that Jojo would end up with Sunho because I don’t like Jojo (and KSH!) but on the other hand I like Sunho so much, so I don’t want Sunho to be with Jojo. But, I was not sure how it could happen knowing that Sunho was the stronger candidate to be with Jojo.
It shocked me that MY WISH BECOMING TRUE, AND IT HAPPENED IN MOST BEAUTIFUL WAY!!! I did not expect that I ended up liking Yukjo character so much throughout this drama and root for her! She was such a loyal, beautiful, mature girlfriend who is always by Sunho’s side and never try to be on Sunho’s way, EVEN WHEN SUNHO DECIDED TO PURSUE JOJO!!! How can a girl be that noble?!!!
What I also like is: despite of the fact that Sunho was still in love with Jojo, he never took Yukjo for granted. He still prioritized her, took responsibility of her, worried about what she felt, worried with whom she went out, waited until she calm down everytime she is angry with him, hugged her when people said that he never looked at her, never said something rude or heartless to her, thought about her first when he was in his hard time, gave her flowers. Sunho basically did all sorts of loving acts to someone he actually did not love. That’s when I know that SUNHO IS SO DECENT and both of them are meant for each other, endgame.
When he ended everything with Jojo (ofcourse Sunho need to have a clear break on this as it was indeed not fair for him how things ended with Jojo in Season 1), I really like how he came back to Yukjo, came to her apartment everyday, waiting for her. It’s just so sweet, my sweet girl Yukjo finally get what she deserves!!!
I really like that this drama appreciate what it means to love someone with patience (ofcourse I refer to Yukjo, I don’t care about Jojo love line haha), so I am so happy and satisfied with the ending. Many thanks, Writernim!
Really wish that there would be a spin-off for this drama highlighting Sunho-Yukjo development of relationship, even if I know that the spin-off is unlikely to exist. I am a happy audience, nevertheless!
